I had problems with cystic acne for a very long time. It seems that once I started getting pimples as a teenager, it never really stopped. I was sick and tired of trying everything else and having it not work, so I was skeptical when a friend insisted that I visit Dr. Nikko. He had treated her psoriasis, which looked better after his care. Still, acne is not psoriasis. But I heard enough about his practice to know that he's a very well regarded dermatologist. He made a complete accounting of all the products I used, and what I ate. He made sure that I switched to fragrance-free products from now on, and prescribed some antibiotics for me to take, which worked. I'm still vulnerable to breakouts every now and then, and his tip for me was to not panic and start irritating my skin with powerful chemicals. I would say I've had the best results with him, though my acne is not completely gone. Definitely much better than before though!

I suffered from eczema, which for me had always been a problem. I don't know how many dermatologists I've been to, and not one had ever managed to help me. I don't blame them, but I never thought I'd get it under control until I went to Dr.Nikko. My sister told me that his office was in Houston, which should be convenient for me because of where I work. I could easily go to his office for treatment before or after work, so I'm just annoyed with myself for not going sooner. Still, I was skeptical whether he could help me or not. Nobody else could help me so far, so what made him different? But I had nothing to lose, plus I heard so many good things about him--so I figured why not? His staff were very friendly and accommodating, and Dr Nikko made sure he knew everything about my medical history before he prescribed a treatment. With his help, my skin is under control, and my eczema outbreaks are a lot rarer. He's a wonder dermatologist, and he is definitely as good as they say he is.

I've been coming here for the past two years, since a friend referred me to Dr. Nikko. The staff at this office is fantastic, they're always great about recommending the best products for me (and not just the ones that are sold here! Although, I am a big fan of Obagi skincare products, and I come here to pick up mine whenever I run out). I see Dr. Nikko for basic stuff, like if I have a breakout, I had him look at a birth mark, and now I'm getting botox and fillers, but I didn't do those until this year. From comparing with my friends, the cost of treatments here is very competitive, a few of my friends have actually switched from their dermatologist's to this place, because they saw a difference in my skin after I started getting restalyne I guess, and also because they said their doctors charged much more money for the exact same thing. Everyone here is pleasant, and I've never had to wait long for an appointment. If you're looking for a Dermatologist in the Houston area, I'd definitely recommend that you check this place out first!
