I've gone to NFFM for over 4 years, and I've noticed the decline in customer service. It has always been a medical shop staffed by nurses and PAs. The website and paperwork says you'll be able to see a doctor, but good luck if you ever get to see a licensed Physician during your actual visit. The pro's of this office is that you have a very large waiting room for your excessive waits. And the office is very large when you get shuffled from one room to another. However, the big con is that everything is slow. The nurses and technicians really don't even want to be there. A comment you'll hear often while waiting in the waiting room, in your first exam room and if your fortunate again while your getting any blood work. Next you'll be pleased to know that the billing department and Melanie Wilkin are not helpful. She will just quote the standard financial document that says patients waive the right to service, that NFFM has no responsibilities in providing accurate information, or that in case of complete incompetence by the non-doctors that the patient has no recourse. The good news is if you are reading this review, you have the choice to select a different provider. Even a minute clinic at Walgreens or CVS would provide better service for something routine like a flu shot, sports physical, or anyone of the procedures they advertise.

for a routine one hour appt and blood work, it takes three to fours hours to complete. two hours is in waiting. i have been going for four years and am not changing because of my doc. However, I am complained over and over and no one is listening. Five of my friends have already left the practice. I guess I am the last sucker. If my doctor leaves, then I will leave. I hear the one in woodstock is real good (new, clean and quick service). I hope the doctors/owners are reading these posts. Every site has about 60 to 70 percent negative review on them.

Avoid this practice at all costs. They do not respond to phone calls, emails, etc. I needed a refill for my daughter's asthma medicine and it took them weeks to contact me and then they told me it was my fault, despite the fact I left them multiple messages and asked them to contact me. Don't put your family's health at risk!

North Fulton Family Medicine is now North Atlanta Family Medicine. I have found that is practically impossible to get someone to respond to your calls to the office. I still don't know how to directly talk to anyone in the office. Took about a week and a half for the Office Manager to get back in touch with me...and I still haven't talked to her! Forget pulling up your medical records or past records on the internet..."new system,we are working on it". I was especially upset when a doctor told me I had to have a test right away because if I waited testing would be "rationed" under "Obamacare" & I would have to wait over a yr. to be approved....the Doctors office is NO PLACE for politics & frankly this is totally false. Health insurance companies already ration us..i.e..no 84yr. old is going to be approved for a heart transplant. I had 2 P.A's that were very thorough but have mixed feelings about the Dr. that I saw...The gals in the lab were very nice. Just learned that the Dr's. don't do hospital visits...not pleased at all with this new finding.

Me and my family were going to NFFM for the last 10 years mainly for yearly check-up. The only time that we actually needed their diagnostic ability they failed and their suggested treatment actually caused the situation to worsen. Anyhow I kept going there for my yearly check up as it was convenient. It might be the economy or that people including me are more careful about their money - I have found out, in the last 2 check-ups, that they are very creative in charging for services that are not needed probably just to increase their revenue. So be careful . Now I am in a search to find a good and honest physician (am I asking too much?).

I have been going here for years, and I do think that Dr. Tobin is wonderful. However, I have to agree with the previous posts about the negative attitudes presented by the nursing and administrative staff. I understand that these people work long hours in stressful situations, but I wish they understood the importance of approaching each patient with a smile and a positive attitude. I'm tired of feeling like a burden when I go to this office. Please learn to respect your patients.

I don't know where the bad reviews come from, I have been going to NFFM for 7 years and have never been unhappy. Dr. Jim Morrow was my Primary Care Dr. and is no longer there, but the PA I am seeing now is just as kind and caring as he was. No administration issues either. Never any issues with appointments or insurance.

My entire family is well cared for at the Alpharetta Family practice, we have much experience with Doctors - Tobin, Hall, Moraczewski and all their physician assistants. ALL ARE GREAT!. The only time I have had to wait was during a walk-in clinic and it was much but I have nothing but good things to say about their attentiveness, referrals, lab care and they clearly make it known that the lab results take 2 weeks on normal situations. They also allow email correspondence with all physicians and Pysician assts, easy requests for med refills, etc. I don't understand what all the fuss is about from the bad reviews? good grief.

Avoid at all cost. They call the business a medical practice but they are actually like the worse run hmo you could ever experience. The doctors are great when you get to them, but it isn't worth the aggravation. They must hire the least experienced and salaried people, because the folks they have couldn't care less about you as a patient. They all act as though they have too much business and never have to earn their way. And to top it all off, they have a phone mail system that prevents you from ever talking to a live person, even if its to check on when they're going to call in your prescription. Save your time. Go where you are respected. This is not the place.

I came from a terrible doctor in the John's Creek area. This was quite a pleasant surprise! The doctors are through and take their time. They also prescribe you the correct medication and weigh out all other options. This helps me to rest easy. The only thing that I was not impressed with was the time it took to get test results back. Otherwise, good practice.

This is a really big family practice. If you choose a doctor or physician's assistant you really like you can have the best of a small and a large practice here. My assistant knows me really well,I always get my same nurse that works directly with him, they take my insurance, they do lots of tests in-house, they have a really efficient email system, they respond quickly with refills, they have an a.m. walk-in clinic, and they can often do same-day appointments or even work you in if you are really sick. What's not to like? I recommend that you visit several times and try a different doctor or assistant each time until you find your match.

I have been here several times and always saw the same doctor and he has an icy shoulder. He basically makes you feel like you pain or sickness is a figment of your imagination. This place is the worst doctors office ever!! They are only worried about one thing...MONEY!
