Booked service against my better judgment, as I needed installment after working hours or on Saturday. Office manager assured me they could work within a lunchtime schedule. I reconfirmed this with the office twice and when the call came the day before to confirm service, the same office manager had no clue about my time slot for arriving - although discussed several times. I should have cancelled then. None the less, I took off work and waited 3 hours. I was told there was one delivery prior to mine, only 25 bales and was assured of arrival by 12:15. Driver finally called & stated he was 10 minutes out, but he had no idea I was on a schedule and had to leave. No one had communicated my scheduling concerns. I had a business meeting that day and had to leave, supposedly after the install. They show up just as I am about to drive off. I give brief instructions and hoped for the best. I came home and the work had been done, but I had the pleasure of going around my entire yard and uncovering all the plants, ground cover and new bulb growth that had been covered and deeply mulched. Frustrated, the owner took no responsibility and stated they arrived within the 3 hour window. Absolutely indifferent. Could have cared less if he lost the business.

Waited 3 hrs? The 3 hour window she was given the day before was between Noon and 3pm. The previous job did take a little longer than expected and we called to let her know we were on the way. We arrived at 1:10pm which I would consider the early part of the noon to 3pm window. Immediately she started complaining about the time and asked for a discount. We went ahead and completed the job. We did a good job and followed her instructions. Afterward, she started complaining about the job and threatened to write a bad review if we did not give her a discount. We are an honest, hardworking, family owned, customer service oriented company. We are sorry she was unhappy but her complaints were unwarranted and unresonable and a discount was not given.
Really impressed with this company. They delivered pine straw that was fresh and did it when promised. Did not complain about having to walk a few extra steps to stack it where I wanted. Had a couple bad experiences with another company. Northlake was great and actually came in $20 under the other company. Will definitely use them again.
