I had my second visit to The Veranda. My first lasted more than two hrs. Total wait time 1 hr & 30 min. (The time seen was split btwn nurse and doctor) This AM's visit totaled 47 minutes in which 3 were for the nurse, who didn't even greet me other than my name. She took my vitals & asked questions (3 min). Back out to waiting room. Another nurse takes me to the room and gives me a sheet and tells me to undress waist down. Then another nurse comes in after 5 minutes & asks was that enough time? Do you think it would take more than two minutes for an agile person wearing sweats to undress from the waist down? Enough was enough. I confronted the nurse and asked why it takes so long (39 minutes) to be seen. Is my time not valuable? In her own professionally trained way...she smiles smugly and says, I'll let my supervisor know. Not a single sorry you had to wait. Then the doctor comes in and says that I'v pissed off a lot of people...Join the club...at least they were getting paid for their time. Needless to say, final responses were "I will find another doctor. Have a nice day." It's a shame they don't give a hoot about the patients time. Waiting 40 min is NUTS since there was no emergency. Nice job doc. Maybe you need a dose of the medicine you clinic dishes out. You and your practice is not worth my valuable time!
