Lydia OConnor-Sanders is a Doctor of Osteopathy who provides care at the North Las Vegas Family Health Center.
Where do I begin? 1st of all I had been a patient of hers for about 3 years. I was a patient when she "had" to move her office the second time (ADDRESS LISTED IS WRONG)and changed her telephone number without properly informing her patients. I was a patient when she changed her office hours from FIVE days a week to FOUR and finally to just THREE days a week! Who really doctors like that? AND SHE HAS NO OTHER DOCTOR ON CALL when she is out and no answering service. The waiting room is 4 or 5 chairs on top of other sick people in less than a 10 x 10 space. Additional patients are forced to wait outside no matter the weather. The office staff walks around the office with a cordless phone so they can try to keep the conversation semi-private when you can hear the exams through the walls. Nothing is private in this office so watch it! Appointment times? They are a joke. I have waited shorter times in security lines at McCarran Airport. I have waited as high as 2 1/2 hours in her office only to be seen less than 5 minutes when I was paying out of pocket for 15 minutes. She double-books and is in less than an 8 hour day. She has laughed when I told her symptoms I was having and totally ignored them. There is something wrong with that! And she gets up and leaves while you are still talking to her. And trying to get a prescription refill takes at least 7 days and sometimes even weeks! License is up last day of 2011. Wonder if she'll bother to renew.

Ive been seeing Dr Lydia for almost a year. I have HIV, so I see her on a regular basis. She is always caring, and attentive. I not only call her my doctor, I think of her as my friend. I reccomended her to my boyfriend, and to other friends. My boyfriend is very happy with her service as well. Dr Lydia isnt a doctor that will just pump you full of meds she wants to find the root cause of the problem first. She is so friendly, and attentive. I would recommend her to anyone any time.

I cannot stress enough to avoid this doctor. I visited her for a pap, which I was told (AFTER waiting an hour past my scheduled appt. time) she would not perform on first visit. HAd to make 2nd appt. Then, was told to call for results, but when I did, they refused to give them over the phone and I had to make yet another appt. to come in to get them. Talk about milking insurance! Save your money for a doctor with some compassion.
