I have been to Oasis Bowl / Thursty Turtle many times & I will have to agree with most of the other comments on here. This is a nice place - great bowling, fun for kids & adults....BUT...eat before you get here as their food prices are outrageous!! You can eat a nice meal at a sit down restaurant for the same price. Also, don't expect great service...Typically you will have to wait at the front desk for a while until someone notices you (unless you happen to be there during peak hours). The bar area is even worse - if you think about going right after work, around 5pm -- It's not a good idea. They are open but you will have to use the front entrance & odds are their won't be a bartender their...The lady they do have on staff most nights is rude & miserable to be around...and she is suppose to be a manager, go figure! Overall, I would say great place for big groups where you can laugh off the lack of service (after a few beers of course!), but definitiely not somewhere to go if value & service is your main concern.

If you just want to go out and pay $4+ dollars to bowl for fun with a plastic ball, then this place is ok. If you would like a quailty league, go to a Brunswick house. Management does not seem to care about the league bowler. How can a bowling alley with not competition in a 15 - 20 mile radious not have a men's league... it is because the staf doesn't know what they are doing.

Let me start by saying, the bowling alley itself couldn't have been nicer. There are great facilities, a great front desk staff, and plenty of lanes available. The bar on the other hand was not a pleasant experience. The (much) older bartender treated you like you were lucky that she was giving you the time of day to serve you. I've never had more condescending service. It amazes me that the management at this place allows this cranky, cantankerous woman to be the face of their bar. This was the 3rd time I've been there. The first time, there was a very nice, friendly younger girl behind the bar who was awesome. The last two times this old woman was more interested gossiping with the other employees than serving drinks.

If you haven't tried it you should go. Good pricing with family plans and you should check out their website before going for coupons. The place is super clean every time we go! If you have kids coming request a lane in front of the bar and enjoy both. Great staff in the bar - super friendly and helpful. They have live music and karaoke and various specials each month. Front desk and management are very helpful. Snack bar revamp is awesome and they have good food & service. Can't say enough - just try it!

I bowl here frequently & play keno in the bar area (Thirsty Turtle). The bowling alley itself is one of the best I've been to but I've had some trouble with the bar manager, Donna. She is unprofessional, moody, never says hi, & doesn't like when we play keno (It's kind of strange since that is one of the perks about coming here). All in all, I would highly recommend the bowling alley to anyone but if you are looking to play keno or enjoy a drink, try Skelly's down the street or Liu's buffet by the mall of GA.
