OFI Classic Cars is first rate--top notch. The work they do is absolutely terrific. But you do not have to take my word, since a picture is worth a thousand words, I have attached photos of my 1956 Thunderbird they restored to corroborate what I am saying. Phil O'Brien and his talented staff at OFI exceeded my expectations. They are detail oriented craftsmen and focus in on even the smallest problem until it is fixed properly. The shop is available during business hours for you to drop in to inspect the work they are doing. Phil is a gentleman and doesn't mind talking with you at length about your car. In the course of my dealings with Phil, I have come to admire in him the qualities of frankness, absolute honesty, even temper, and sound judgment. If you have a collector car in need of restoration work, I can recommend OFI Classic Cars without reservation. They are excellent.

This so called "restoration shop" crapped their pants when I brought in my baby for a few minor repairs. Their technicians are poorly skilled and unable to cope with anything made after 1965 unless its a mustang. If you have any non-stock mods forget these guys. They can't seem to deal with anything unless its stock. They also have bad attitudes about certain cars because they are haunted by a number of past failures. Worst of all, they charged me 2500 for work that was quoted at 1600, and never did half the work I asked for. They took numerous short cuts and charged me outrageous labor prices. They charged me several hours of labor for wire troubleshooting but all they did was run a bypass wire. instead of replacing my brakes as quoted they merely cleaned them and put them back on. Stay away from these guys unless you have a mustang. That seems to be all they are really comfortable with.
