This was a touching memorial to those who lost their lives on that tragic day. It has a soothing quality now and anyone who is passing thru here needs to take the time to stop and reflect and never forget.

How can you not make a journey here if you are passing through oklahoma city. It was an emotional look at a very sad part of our american history. Well worth the stop and reflection.

We didnt plan on visiting the memorial but when we stopped to eat and discovered we were only blocks from it, we decided it was worth the extra time it would take to get home. And it was. The outdoor part of the memorial is serene and touching. You can hear is the rolling of the water in the granite wading pool which runs from end to end and the smell of it permiates the air in a ghostly way. The rows of empty chairs that are visually emotional and burn into your memory as a reminder of the magnitude of the destruction. It is a beautiful tribute to the people who were lost on this day.
