Twice have I encountered the "sales team" from Omega Meats. Both times I have ended up calling the Police. My first introduction to the company envolved a plain white work van with no markings. They pulled into my drive while I was working in my yard and 4 men around the age of 35 jump out wanting to sell me some steaks. The first clue that these guys were shady was that they asked if I was home alone, when do I normally get off work and could I pay with cash while they were all 4 standing around me. That was a year ago at this time. My second encounter happend today. I was again working in my yard and a van pulled up that actually said Omega Meats on the side this time. A man who looked to be about 45 jumps out and introduces himself as the district manager for Omega meats in Wilmington, NC which is 2.5 hours away. This "district manager" was wearing cut off blue jean shorts with a plaid button up shirt. Not exactly the corporate business image. And he smelled strongly of alcohol. Shady shady shady. I will be putting up a no trespassing sign in my yard just so that I can have these people arrested next time they show up.
