They have a youth basketball league that has 3 teams and 1 team is an AAU team and they have them playing agains 5 & 6 year old beginners, they win everytime which isnt fair to any of the other kids. I have much more to say but it isnt worth it. Ill go to another league for my little ones next year.

My daughter joined the basketball league. We were told the kids(U12)would mainly play on Saturdays, the parents would NOT be charged to come and watch their child play, & that they were going to do an "Exit Questionnaire" to see how they could improve. When we received our schedule, they had a handful of Friday games, but it got changed at the last minute & all but two games were played on Friday. As a matter of fact, the schedule changed at least three times-not very professional. Before the games started, they put up a flyer informing people that there would be a charge to watch the games, however, the parents were told that they would not have to pay-ha! We had to pay & their reasoning was that they wanted to give the referees "something nice" at the end of the season--they are already getting paid, so why do they need an additional fee?-BS Of course, we received no exit questionnaire. The staff were friendly-when they paid attention to you. The women were distracted by the men talking to them & the men were distracted by the female staff. Also, if something is wrong with your soda/water/food that they sell, don't look to them to get a refund. I had one of their water bottles break (plastic-I said it was defective because they don't just split open when dropped) in front of them, and they refused to give my niece a refund or exchange it. The owner is looking at the bottom line & does not care about customer service at all.

We were looking for a gym close to home and decided to check it out. Boy were we disappointed. The facility was once nice when it was Firehouse Fitness. Boy has it gone down. The gym floor itself is very small. One tiny area contains the cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights. The other half of the gym is the basketball facility. You travel through the locker rooms to get to the pool. I would not be comfortable using either area. Both left something to be desired. The pool was small and I would be worried about cleanliness in the locker rooms, though I would be judging that solely on the appearance of the rest of the gym. The locker room & shower facilities could be very clean. I was hesitant to inspect this area in detail as I had already decided 2 minutes into the tour that I would not be joining this gym. The classroom is upstairs. That room has obviously seen better days. The carpet looks filthy and is coming up. There is no way I would lie down on a carpet that nasty looking even with a mat. This may be the reason they offer so few classes. Their class offerings are limited and they really only offer 1 or 2 classes in the evenings. Other gyms offer more class choices and run classes throughout the day. They are advertising a $17/month membership with a 2 year contract. I'd rather pay $55/month somewhere else and get a better facility. This is truly a case of you get what you pay for!
