We make the Internet smaller for local business
A simple search for "what" you do will provide literally millions of results because the search is national.
A search for "what" you do "where" you do it typically provides less than 100,000 results because it is filtered locally.
Unfortunately, even when the number of results is significantly reduced, it does not automatically lead to your business showing in the first 10~20 results for a specific keyword. Your competition.. is using the Internet as well.
That's where we come in.
When a customer asks a search engine for "what" you do - "where" you do it, Optimized Local Search Services make sure the answer is you.
The goal of our Optimized Local Search Services is to position a business online so as to populate organic (non-paid) search results in Google, Yahoo! and Bing/MSN. We recommend multiple listings in multiple locations to help insure the presence remains effective over time as both the Internet and competitive positioning evolve.
The dynamics of the Internet and the competitive nature of various markets make it difficult to guarantee performance for a particular listing, industry or keyword. Therefore, we begin each service by carefully crafting each business profile to include the top performing keywords according to Google's Keyword Tool. The top keywords are combined with the top services, brands, products and selling-points provided by the business owner to create a listing that properly reflects the business image while attracting keyword searches.
The key difference between our Local Search Services and other Internet marketing services is that we focus our efforts strictly on local. The service works almost exclusively for searches that include geographic references (i.e. - "fence company in Lewisville, TX). The addition of geo-factors allows a local business to effectively reduce the size of the Internet while reaching the customers that are most valuable to them.
The actual locations where we create the business profiles are determined based on several factors including: how well they perform in organic search results; likelihood of listing to become a citation in Google's LBL (caution: SEO lingo); strategic partnerships with other sites (i.e. - Local.com feeds several hundred online newspaper directories including the Dallas Morning News); and general popularity with consumers (i.e. - Yelp.com). Since the relative power of each listing is dynamic over time, we recommend services that include multiple listings to help insure that the overall impact is consistent.
We typically complete the Optimized Local Search Service within 3~5 business days. The process of completing the service is time intensive since it is done manually. While each listing we create is free of charge by the listing host, we make it clear to every business owner that what they are paying for is our time and expertise. Within a week of completion, most business owners report to us that our services are easily the best value in marketing they've ever encountered. If this sounds like hyperbole, please feel free to ask them.
The majority of the listings are active immediately upon verification (typically via an email address that we create for the sole purpose of completing the service). A few listings become active within a few days of submission. Both Google and Bing require verification via either phone or US Mail and can take 2~3 weeks before activation. Typically, the various listings are indexed by the search engines and begin populating organic search results within 24 hours of activation.
On average a business will reach 50~75 unique local customers everyday as a direct result of our service.* Approximately 1~3% of customers actually contact the business. It doesn't take too long for a business to recoup a $200~$400 investment when they're consistently getting three new customers a week. In fact, over 80% of businesses recoup their investment in less than 30 days (those dollar discount stores take a bit longer at times).
Are you a business owner who wants more customers?
* Statistics assume a business signs up for the level of service appropriate for their industry and city size.
