I am forever grateful to Dr. Li and Lily Li. I had a spinal cord injury and was in constant mind bending pain and needed a mobility scooter. After six months of coming to Oriental Health Care I made incredible gains. After one year I no longer needed to use my mobility scooter. The acupuncture regenerated my nerves. I would not have recovered from my injury without them. I highly recommend them!!!

I came off the pill ready to get pregnant about 2 years ago. At first, I didn't have a cycle. I went to a number of doctors and a fertility specialist. I had an MRI, rounds of blood work, ultrasound, followed advise and quit exercising, got therapy, etc - nothing worked. A friend referred me to Oriental Health Care. My first visit went well. Lilly took the time to listen to me. On her advice, I came to 6 sessions. After our final session, she said "ok, go home. In two weeks, your period will come". She was right! I was back in the game. Six months later, still no baby. I decided to go back to purchase some of the natural, herbal fertility pills from Oriental Health Care. I took them as prescribed and, sure enough, that next time.. Conception! If you're having trouble, I can think of a better way to get pregnant. The doctors all wanted us to start IVF. This is much more expensive and not as natural. At Oriental Health Care Center, the staff was caring and understanding, they were professional and clean. It just felt right. And, most importantly, it worked! Thank you!!!

This was my first and only experience with acupuncture, so I have nothing to compare it to. It wasn't in a particularly safe looking part of town. Projects, run-down buildings, and graffiti abound. The office itself looked clean, but it absolutely reeked of something that smelled like bug spray or moth balls (a person in the waiting room said "roach spray"). I was taken back by Dr. Li who was very nice and took the time to explain things. She examined my tongue, felt my pulse in both wrists, and then took me back for the acupuncture followed by cupping. The acupuncture wasn't painless, but it wasn't too bad, except for the one that she stuck in my palm. That made me say "yow!!" and legs come off the table. Then I lay there for 30 minutes with needles all over, a warm lamp on my stomach ("to increase circulation") and Asian music playing softly. Dr. Li returned and asked me to flip over on my stomach. She then put a needle in each sole of foot and then proceeded to do cupping, which was kind of strange but felt very good. About 8 minutes later, she came in and pulled all of the cups off and said "okay!" and rushed out to someone in another room. And I climbed off the table and onto the needles she had forgotten to remove from my feet. Yes, ow. I don't know if I'll be back. That kind of thing concerns me. If they'll forget that, what else could they forget? She seemed to know her stuff otherwise. I just don't know whether I should go back or shop around.

Every aspect of visiting Oriental Health is 5-star: the service, the effectiveness, cost, ambience, etc., are all marvelous. Upon entering, you feel more at peace automatically. Once you meet with either Dr. Li or Lily Li, your level of comfort further increases, and when it is time to leave you feel healthier, calmer, and overall just simply better. I have recommended them to friends and family and have never heard anything that was not positive.
