With an old VW, I have had a string of bad experiences with mechanics who didn't know what they were doing, but said they did, and who charged me for things I didn't need, and didn't fix the things that needed fixing. Imagine my relief when I found P&D! They know what they're doing; they do it for less than it would cost elsewhere; they don't tell you you need things done that you don't need done; and they treat you with respect and understanding when you have a problem. These are honest, trustworthy people--an increasingly rare commodity. I will never go anywhere else with any car, and am happy to encourage you to do the same.

We moved to the westside and proximity, and luck brought us to P&D. In the 3 years I've been going to them, they have been reliable, knowledgable, and capable. I needed body work and they found reduced cost, aftermarket stuff. They did my tires. They've helped friends with engine trouble, they've even patched my scooter's tire. They're very real, honest mechanics and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I have been taking my cars to P&D for over 15 years now (new, old, foreign and domestic, they fix them all). I moved out of state for a while, and quickly realized how much I had come to take for granted the trust I have in the quality and integrity of their service. I was glad to learn that they were still in the same location when I returned to the Atlanta area 7 years ago, and have taken my cars to them again ever since (embarrassingly after re-learning an expensive and frustrating lesson at a national chain that was convenient). They're not located near my home, but are well worth the drive. I know that needed repairs will get done correctly at a fair price (and only needed repairs). Paul and Diane as well as their entire staff of mechanics represent a dying breed that put customer service and integrity first. I have recommended them highly to friends, family, and co-workers, and can't speak highly enough of their service. As a side note, the shop is located in a pretty industrial area, and won't win any awards for decor or architecture - but then, I'd rather pay for capable honest service and properly repaired vehicles than grandiose showrooms and waiting areas...
