I cannot recommend this practice. Besides being rather brusque and appearing to lack any sincere concern for their patients, this practice submitted a $1,500 claim to my insurance provider for an Aspen Horizon back brace. I could have purchased the exact same model for $172 (with free shipping) from Amazon and $150 (shipping extra) from a medical supply company. Makes me think they are overcharging for all their services.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience w/ Pain Consults of Atlanta over the past year. The staff is friendly and professional. The doctor has spent a great deal of time and effort determining the best treatment for my RA, PA, AS, bursitis, and bone spur pain. I would highly recommend them.

Hopefully you don't have any problems after a procedure. If you do the scheduling coordinator will not get you in for an appt. nor will you get follow up from the staff ( actually you will hear back from the nurse who will speak w/ the Dr. then call you back-which doesn't happen). You will be better served seeing a Dr. who owns their own building & staff and are concerned with their patients.

Dr Achilles literally yelled at my wife who is in extreme pain and then walked out on her. Other reviews are right about no call backs, seeing nurses, and NO CONCERN for the patient. They treat their patients like drug addicts rather than human beings who are suffering and begging for relief. Avoid this practice like the plague. We are done with them.

I have been to Pain Consultants of Atlanta for several years and have always had a positive experience. They have a large patient following and I have not experienced any of the issues listed in these reviews. Pain Consultants of Atlanta has improved my life and I would encourage you to give them a try.

Worst medical service available in this country and several Third World Countries. See my review @ Pain Consultants of Atlanta's offical website or wherever else it may have wound up. It is labled, 'I Agree With the Negative Reviews, By: Keith. It is very important that you see this before you ever step foot into that place. The limit of words on this forum is too limited to put it all in.

She was great. Dr. Vick took the time to explain the procedure, my diagnosis, and all of my treatment options. She talked to me through the entire procedure and calmed any fears. The procedure was quick and there was minimal to no pain. She showed me the picture afterwards and explained again what was done. I wish my other doctors were as caring and conscientious. Fantastic experience and I look forward to seeing her again.

I had a horrible experience with Pain Consultants of Atlanta, which I need to report. Dr. Pamela Vick stabbed me six times, always missing, filling my neck so full of black dye that it looked on an X-ray that it was made of iron. She did not change needles with each new stick, so each was more painful, and she greatly risked infecting me by sticking dirty needles into the bottle. I do not believe she ever hit my spinal column, as I received no relief whatsoever.

I was just there today and had the best experience. Dr. Vick was absolutely amazing and professional. The receptionist up front did a great job of getting all my paperwork together and was really friendly. The whole staff made me feel really comfortable in a situation that could have been really uncomfortable. I would recommend them to anyone. I even called to have a prescription called in and received a phone call within thirty minutes. They could not have done anything more to make me feel safe and comfortable.

First Dr. Hord left and then Dr. Cable left. Allison, one of the NP also left. Their PA put me on a medication that I told her I couldn't take and then switched me to another one that was noted on my chart as an allergy! My advice is to steer clear of this practice. They only care about the money and not the patient in my experience.
