A friend of mine locked her self out... well... she lost her keys... ok, so it was me! I lost my keys! AGAIN. and I had get to a conference meeting on my computer. I called Paragon for the first time. (sadly I have a lot of experience with other locksmith companies) I called Paragon before but they always sound so expensive. $99 to get back in the apartment while all the other freelance locksmiths advertise $59, $29, and some even $19. I figured maybe they are more expensive because they do the work faster, and since I was pressed with time, I decided to give them a chance. On the phone I was told it would take the technician about 30 minutes to arrive. I knew not to expect anything. Locksmiths never make it on the time they say they will, but to my surprise 25 minutes later arrived a technician at my buildings lobby. (I think his name was Roy). He got me back in the apartment in less then 10 minutes. just in time for my meeting. Now comes the really surprising part. When you call a locksmith at night to get you back in the apartment they always take you on for a ride. soon the $59 turns to $159 and before you know it you are signing a check on the amount of $359 or more. This was not the case with Paragon. I paid exactly what I was told on the phone, which was the $99 plus a late night fee. With the new parts installed and everything I still ended up paying considerably less then what I would usually pay. Next time I loose my keys I know exactly who to call.
