I called for an appointment and one was scheduled the same day. Big plus, but it did make me wonder why he wasn't booked up as the other ENTs all seemed to be. My friend wanted to add me to her list of people with whom the office could discuss her condition, but they wouldn't give her the paper back because they were "processing" it - apparently the staff's typing took precedence over my friend's wishes. 45 minutes late, I asked if there was a problem and got massive, highly unprofessional attitude from the window clerk. I never do this, but I actually said to her that I would have appreciated some acknowledgement or apology (I had gotten a flat "they're not ready for her yet") and in return received a snarl and a sarcastic "Well I'm SORRY." The doctor seemed pleasant and knowledgeable but not being a doctor, I don't know how to assess his skills except to say that he did the same test the GP was going to do next. I guess that means they're working from a common body of knowledge, which is reassuring. And when my friend called back today in pain, the nurse was pleasant, got the right information, and promised to call back quickly. I'm glad and grateful that we got in so quickly but am a bit unnerved by the inconsistent professionalism of the office staff.

Went to see Dr. Parker about 20 years ago due to severe itching around my eyes. For some reason was told sinus surgery might help! I was young and naive. Have had severe pain in the sinuses ever since, which I didn't have before the surgery! Ruined my quality of life. Thanks buddy.

Totally impressed with how thorough and appropriate his treatment was. I've seen many ENTs over the years and have had a sinusotomy. Dr. Parker explained how to care for my situation better than anyone ever has, and was so pleasant about it. His office staff was so nice and helpful. I'm surprised by the other reviewer who left before seeing the doctor. His office is small, but I felt comfortable and that my privacy was protected and respected. I also felt that they were very patient, caring and knowledgeable, which is often hard to find in office staff these days.

I never saw the doctor, let me say that upfront. He may be wonderful. However, his office staff is easily the most unprofessional I've ever encountered. While in the waiting room, the receptionist called someone's insurance company to get benefit information ON THE SPEAKER PHONE! I now know this poor woman's name, ss #, and where either she or her husband works as well as her insurer, claim numbers and deductables. That was not the only breach of confidentaility that I witnessed during my hour long sit in the waiting room -- there were two or three others. I finally left before my appointment. Like I said, Dr. Parker could be the most wonderful ENT in the world; but his office staff made me sick.
