The company only works traditional business hours. They were not willing to accomodate my work schedule by coming to my home on any evening or weekend. Their comment: Our employees are salaried. I will not try to work with a company that cannot show any flexibility in their hours, since I also work full time. Apparently their work schedule is more important than mine. My rating is based solely on this issue, but it is a big one.

Our home flooded on Christmas Eve. This crew rolled in and didn't blink an eye at the disaster. They did everything with confidence and I didn't have to worry because I could tell they were experienced. I definitely recommend them to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I would definitely call on them again. Made a disaster seem less of a disaster.

The Parker Young Construction team were true professionals throughout the entire repair process. The lines of communications were always open to the customer to address concerns. The customer needs were placed first during the repair work. I would recommend Parker Young Constructions to friends and family for work/repairs to be done in their home.

I am so pleased with the work Parker Young did in my home. The team was professional and stayed on schedule. I would definately recommend their services to anyone. I would also like to extend a personal "Thank you" to Jim Adams. He is very experienced in what he does and always kept my best interest first. Thanks, Very satisfied customer!

We had an absolute mess in our home and had just moved to CA. Our insurance company recommended FireStar and I am so glad they did! They called our Realtor within minutes of hearing from our insurance company and immediately came to the property and worked all night. They behaved with the utmost professionalism and had everything ready for the contractors to come in and complete the repairs within a few days. I highly recommend this great company!!

The crew was polite and professional, on time and efficient. They were upfront about all the possibilities in the initial assessment of the water damage to my home, and my wife and I are very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend!

We were very pleased by the high standards each of the workers showed when repairing our home. They exhibited courtesy and skill in completing all tasks and left our home in excellent condition. They did have a slow start but at the end it all came together We highly recommend Parker Young

Every Firestar and Parker-Young employee who came to my home was prompt and courteous. They called before they arrived. The communication among Firestar and Parker-Young employees was efficient. When my furnishings required relocation, it was done in careful and thought-out fashion. The crews worked together to accomplish their part. Clean-up was the best I've ever experienced with repairs in my home.

I experienced broken pipe damage in my north GA mountain house. My insurance company immediately contacted Parker Young Construction and they took over the problem quickly. Once the water was extracted, they began repairs and did an excellent job. All employees I came in contact with were very professional and I'm very pleased with the final result!

After frozen pipe water break, a cleanup crew was at home within hours. They did the work, guided us through the insurance paperwork, and restored our home to original status. Would highly recommend the for fire or flood

Initiated contact with a guy named Jose for a bathroom remodeling project. Got a quote. This guy first promised to follow -up with a phone call to finalize the job details. He never did!! Later on I got in touch with him somehow before his scheduled trip to Colombia. We scheduled a meeting for the day after his return. He never showed up and never called to apologize.Called him up again . He promised again to call me back in 30 min after double checking on an aspect of the proposed job. He never called back. Bad! Bad customer service! Don't even bother.

Jose began working with this gentleman in November of 2013. We presented our initial estimate for repairs to him on November 19, 2013. The client reviewed the estimate and asked Jose to make some changes, which he did, and presented a revised estimate to him on December 5, 2013. Jose had been in contact with the client via phone but mostly email over the entire six months. Jobs such as this do not typically take six months to complete but the client had many questions and a difficult time making decisions as to what materials (tile, bath fixtures, etc.) to select. Jose tried many times to convince the client to come into our showroom and let us help him make the selections. Finally, Jose convinced him and scheduled an appointment with our interior designer to make material selections from our showroom (April 2014). The client came in for the appointment but was unable to find selections that satisfied him. Finally the client called Jose on June 12, 2014 and asked him to provide labor only and he (the client) would be providing all materials. Jose explained to him that as General Contractors it is customary for us to provide both labor and materials as a service to our clients. Jose also explained that we do this because not allowing us to install our own products, voids our warranty and creates unnecessary liability concerns. We cannot warranty a product that we are not familiar with and unsure of the quality. We offer our warranty to protect the client. The client became very upset and subsequently authored this negative review. Parker Young Construction is glad to provide our services to this client and any other; however, we prefer not to be involved in a situation that could negatively affect those we serve and create liability concerns down the road.
The team at PY worked together well and provided quick response and a professional approach throughout the project. I really appreciate the job they did and the care and attention to detail. Thank you PY!

4/1/2014 was the date. In the mist of what was an overwhelming situation regarding water damages (from a 1985 hot water tank) to my condo from my 2nd floor neighbors(last year the third floor neighbors)my initial contact was with Jessie,he received my silliness & listened to my frustration. He was willing to properly take a look at my property and willing to look at the neighbors to encourage him to do something now to cease the water flow.When the team arrived they immediately accessed the situation and determined what needed to be done to mitigate the water damage until the neighbor resolved the water flow 24 hrs later.Derrick also discussed with the neighbor the damages that my property was encountering due to lack of action on his part. Let's just say as a woman I felt I had professional advocates mitigating the water concerns in our home.Each team (2nd team Joshua and Matthew and there was another person on that team) I felt they were genuinely concerned about assisting with resolving this issue and were respectful to my teenage daughter & me.I had great conversations w/each team as they tore down areas and brought in equipment. Their conversation as they worked calmed me. Thank you to Jessie Wilcox, Derrick Baldree, Joshua Whitt, Andrew Walton, Matthew Chappina, and the other person. Many thanks to the operators(customer service staff), because if my call was not routed properly this would not have been initiated and resolved expeditiously. Our Angels!
