My experience here was great! Pat, the owner, kept in touch with me from a friendly reminder call and to tell me she was a couple of minutes off due to traffic. I came here due to a groupon. Pat took it no problem and no questions asked. My hair is difficult - long, naturally curly and blond. I wanted highlights and and a cut. She did that and I left happy. I'm still happy. The color is fantastic. The cut looks great and I'm back to feeling confident. I've had a hard time finding someone who can do what I ask. Inside the studio is welcoming, open and well put together. You're not on top of one another. I'll be going back for sure!

Pat has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 2 years now and I'm always pleased with the results. She has a great staff and I feel like I'm family when I visit for an appointment. 2 thumbs up from this fan.

I love to go to Salon 1580! It would hard to fine a staff more doting or more professional. Everyone, from the owner to the shampooers to the manucuriest sincerely care about you. I have been going to Pat at Salon 1580 for a little over a year and a half. I think Pat does an awesome job on my hair and I am pleased with her work.

LOVE this place and love Pat! I bought her color and Global Keratin combo and LOVE my hair! I got highlights first then a week later the Global. My hair is luscious and smooth and BEACH-READY! I wish ALL businesses strived to make their clients 110% happy like Pat does! Love the service, the price, and the people! I am hooked on Salon 1580 and will be a regular customer! So glad I found you!

I went to salon 1580 today for a full highlight and cut. I absolutely love my hair!! I have not been able to find anyone to make my hair look this good, since being in Atlanta. I appreciated pat's insight and recommendations and her expertise is unmatched. The other salon staff was also welcoming and accommodating! I will definitely be going back for highlights again and also keratin treatments!!!

This salon is a joke! My hair is ruined. The owner Pat overbooks and she will have 5+ clients sitting around the salon waiting for hours to get their hair done. She treats her 'assistants' terribly and has them shampoo and blow dry peoples hair to save her time. They don't even know how! I bought a Groupon and was up-charged a ton of money at the end. She argues with you and has no professionalism if you try to question it. This salon is a complete disaster and I am trying to warn people to not even bother. In the end you pay what you would have paid by going to a professional and experienced stylist. Just a warning!

When you left the salon, you said you LOVED your ombre and was going to tell everyone about it. You proudly posed for two photos taken with my iPhone of your hair that we took to post online! Why, six weeks (?) later, are you suddenly writing all these horrible things here and on Yelp? I'm shocked and confused. We spent a lot of time making sure it was just as you wanted it, in fact bringing you back to enhance the ombre, coloring it further up. The Groupon was NOT for an ombre, it was for a highlight, a totally different service. That's why we had you come in for a consult. You were told we did not have a Groupon ombre offer. We did everything you asked, making sure you were happy. We charged you minimally for the 2nd ombre service. I'm disappointed, after all we did to accommodate your requests, leaving you raving about your hair, that you would write such a negative review. :(
We obviously cannot please you no matter how hard we try. We were there 'til almost 10 pm and responded immediately after your 2nd request and came back in at 7:30 am on Saturday morning. When you left you were so happy. You took some of my business cards saying you were going to hand them out to your friends. I don't understand why you would wait four weeks and not even call me directly, or let me know you were unhappy in any way after serving you to your specifications, but instead put these reviews all over the internet. I am very confused!!
I found Salon 1580 via a Groupon special. I called the owner, Pat, on a Thursday and she scheduled me for the following Tuesday for a shampoo, cut, and highlight for $59! What a deal! Pat was so accomodating that she rescheduled me to come in on Saturday instead :-) Upon arrival, I was met with a very cheerful and professional team of hair stylists. Pat instructed me to grab a smock and have a seat. I wasn't waiting long before a very vibrant and energetic Penny walked through the door. She approached me and immediately offered a manicure while I waited. Before I knew it, I was getting a manicure, pedicure, and having my hair foiled all at the same time. My nails, toes and hair turned out BEAUTIFUL! Pat took the time to ensure my hair was perfectly straight and gorgeous before stepping out the door. Pat is an amazing stylist and Penny is a true compliment to the salon. All of the staff were incredibly professional and accomodating. I have found my new hair Salon! Thank You Pat! :-)

If you want QUALITY service, Pat is an expert in color, the latest and best cuts & styles, Global Keratin treatments, etc. If you want GOOD SERVICE, Pat makes you feel right at home, offers you a glass of wine or soda, and does what she can to give you a great experience. If you want VALUE, then just come once, get on her mailing list, and you'll be surprised at how many GREAT, MONEY-SAVING SPECIALS she offers, on single services or combos. I have been a patron for over five years and have had MANY services -- Global Keratin hair-smoothing (it really is LIFE-CHANGING! -- see the photo I posted!), color (yes, I'm getting gray!), highlights (best highlights I've ever gotten have been from her), and a new, trend-setting hair cuts (I let her cut my long hair into a cute inverted bob and love it!). So, you see, Pat really DOES "DO IT ALL"! I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. And I LOVE her new location -- it's huge and classy! Thanks, Pat and the gals @ Salon 1580! I "heart" you! :)

I was visiting ATL for 6 weeks for a project and was looking for a place to get a good and efficient keratin treatment done. Salon 1580 was everything I needed. I found it on the groupon website and had a great service. I was happy with the outcome and will be going back again to get another keratin treatment done before I leave town. I used the shampoo and conditioner for all the washes and the treatment lasted two months! Pat also offers some great referral services and some of my friends in town are also interested in trying out the service for the first time. Thanks Pat ~

I have been going to Salon 1580 for the past three months. I initially went because of a Groupon coupon. Pat really knows are stuff and I have been so pleased with the color process she uses. The products are excellent and the results perfect. The atmosphere is very comfortable and friendly and everyone tries to make you feel relaxed and at ease. Pat is extremely accomodating and will fit you in and work around your schedule which is hard to find. I would recommend Salon 1580 to anyone interested in getting a professional haircut and coloring and being treated as a pampered client.

I love my hair...the color looks so natural that people assume it is my natural highlighting. Pat is very talented and trust her with all aspects of my hair. I don't want to move from the area because I do not want to leave her!

Pat is always so concientous about doing a great job for her clients. My color looks great and I love all the attention I get at the salon! It has such a cheerful and upbeat atmosphere. The new nail tech, Penny is awesome too!

I bought a groupon and when I called to make the appointment, I spoke to Pat directly. She was very short with me and actually sounded rude. Normally, I would have let that first impression guide me, but as I had already paid for the groupon, I had to use it! When I went it to see Char, the stylist, I found it a very unappealing atmosphere. Pat had two customers at the same time and one poor lady sat there for an hour, with wet hair, waiting her turn with Pat. The time I was there, Pat must have answered her cell phone 5 times, taking away time from the TWO customers in her chair. Now I knew why she was short with me on the phone. Interestingly, the receptionist sat there doing nothing while Pat answered these calls on her cell phone. That is just poor management and if I was the customer in Pat's chair, I would have said something. My stylist was not much better. She had two customers at the same time as well. She left me several times to go attend to the other customer. It was a cold, unfriendly, unorganized atmosphere and I could not wait to get out of there. I would not recommend it nor will I go back.

I'm sorry you felt you didn't get adequate attention because I was on the phone. As the owner, I answer my own phone. I feel that my professional service includes consultation with clients, and people still like the personal touch of asking questions and getting answers before an appointment. It is too hard to get back to people if calls go to voice mail, and playing phone tag, as most of my clients are busy professionals. Most of our customers return again and again because they say it IS a warm, friendly atmosphere and they have a positive, fun experience. I'm sorry your perception was different. As far as customers "sitting with wet hair," they were probably processing (global keratin or deep conditioning). Also, your stylist, Char, is no longer with us. Nevertheless, thank you for your feedback.
