he was given antibiotics at another facility where they stated it was a urinary tract infection but his symptoms persisted. His symptoms were peeing, ALOT, as well as outside of his box, on the comforter, my high heels 😩, stinky strong urine like breathe, loss of appetite (and homeboy loves his kibble and wet food), slow growth of hair that was shaved for his neuter, a bit lethargic and the original vet told me his white blood cells were elevated with initial blood work. He was also diagnosed with a heart murmur (that was a big factor into how Dr G and Ingrid set his medical care up in future). I told Ingrid all info, (who's also a vet tech at PWC) and she referred me to Dr G. They dove right in to find out what was wrong with my Jacques Noir. Testing confirmed Jacques has kidney disease. It hurt to see my new little buddy like this when he is so young. Dr G knew I was determined to care for him but that my funds are super tight. She and Ingrid put together as much supplies and food together so that I only paid a portion, rest was donated. I can't even begin to tell you how much that hit me in the deepest feels. The profs here at PWC not only know what the heck they're doing, they care and are amazingly knowledgeable about CATS which I can't say is the case for all vets (most vets are more knowledgeable about dogs). I get people do the best they can, but this place goes above and beyond and that is what sets this facility apart from others.

I have been bringing my two persians to Ingrid at PWC for grooming for about a year and she is always gentle with my babies and does a great job! Ingrid also always has great advice to give me regarding care for my cats and their behavioral quirks. I have also starting bringing them to Dr. Globerman for their exams. She does a thorough job and the few times my cats have needed medication she explains why they need it and how to administer it in terms that are easy to understand. I am so happy to have found a vet that only sees kitties AND does a great job!

Excellent caring veterinarian and thorough expert feline services. Clean and safe environment with a passionate emphasis on proper care and health of your cat. Dina, Julia and Chloe are welcoming and professional. Ingrid has a vast knowledge and expertise. It is a pleasure to visit every time. Dr. Globerman truly knows feline medicine instead of just throwing services at you that your cat may not need, and that may be detrimental. Knowledge is everything, and in this case, the proper health of my furry children.

My kitties are new patients at Paw Whiskers and Claws, and I was really impressed on our first visit. The clinic is very clean and quiet, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Globerman is an excellent doctor, and spent over an hour examining my cats and throughly documenting the history of each one. Ingrid, the on-staff feline behavior specialist, has many helpful "how to" videos on their website, which are both informative and entertaining. It's clear that they have a genuine love for cats, and has only their best interest at heart. The fact that Dr. Globerman will not declaw a cat says more than words could ever say. They know that declawing offers no benefit to the cat and can be detrimental to their wellbeing. In spite of the large profits that are made on this procedure, they still refuse to do it. They sacrifice financial gain in order to spare a cat this unnecessary surgery, and I don't know of many other vets willing to do that. To me, it proves they're not all about the money as so many others are. I have searched a long time for a veterinarian that genuinely cares about cats, and I have finally found one. The care they give makes an hour drive one way worth it. Dr Dr. Globerman and the staff at Paws Whiskers and Claws are top notch and truly all about cats. A heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Globerman, Ingrid, and the entire staff for their dedication to cats!

Outstanding Feline services and care. They educate the cat client's owners; no question or concern goes unaddressed. They listen. Cats are sensitive; while at the clinic, Dr Globerman and Ingrid are so tender and kind with them; during examination, the cats feel so comfortable. If you want excellent care, PWC is our recommendation.

OMG I absolutely love Dr. Globerman, Ingrid, Dina and Julia! I have had cats all of my life and have had many good vets, but they, by far, have been the most thorough, most informative, and most caring staff I have ever been to. I am always amazed at how much time they all spend with me when I am there. I live nowhere near their office, but I drive 45 minutes just to see them. I was happy with my vet, but when I was having behavioral problems with my youngest cat and oldest cat, they stepped up - did a very thorough examination of each of mine (even my middle one) before we made a game plan. Ingrid is certified in animal behavior and I utilized her skills as well. Dina has been willing to drop off medicine to me on her way home, as she lives near me. Dr. Globerman's expertise in cats is top notch and she works very hard to keep the cost reasonable. I can't speak enough about how satisfied and happy I am with the car of my little ones. They really treat us all as a family and that is how I see myself and my little ones. I would be happy to speak to any new client's of Dr. "G!" Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping me and my family Paws, Whiskers and Claws!!!

If you are looking for a veterinarian to take the best care of your kitty-look no further than Dr. Globerman and her staff. I have had kitties for the past 30+ years, but I learned more about the "thinking of a cat" to their care from Dr. G, Ingrid and Deena in just the 2 years I took my kitties to them. By the time I found Dr. G I had 2 senior kitties. Because of their knowledge, caring and the education they provided me - I give them all the credit for extending my kitties lives and to be able to have additional quality time with both of them. Unfortunately, one lost her battle to a stroke at age 19 and the other to cancer at age 17. But when I decide to get another BFF (Best Furry Friend) I will be returning to Dr. G. I have to travel about 35 minutes each way - but every minute is worth it. Don't look any further - make an appointment with them now.

Dr. G and Ingrid have been taking care of my babies for the past 7-8 years. They have always shown the utmost of care and compassion. My eldest girl, a beautiful blue tortie named Misha, was diagnosed with diabetes in August of this year at 12 years old and Dr. G was so patient and responsive. Over Christmas, she experienced an episode of diabetic ketoacidosis and the care and compassion of everyone at PWC was unmatched. She was in the hospital for 5 days and appeared to have recovered. We picked her up on New Year's Day. By Saturday, she was doing poorly again and I spent the weekend syringe feeding, administering fluids and taking care of my baby around the clock. During this time, Dr. G was always available by email and was so helpful. On Monday, she wanted to repeat lab work and it turned out my baby was producing ketones again and the prognosis wasn't good. We'd tried everything but it was clear my baby was done fighting and I couldn't bear to watch her suffer. The agonizing decision to let her go was made and the compassion of Dr. G, Ingrid and Dina shone through the entire time. I was able to spend as much time with my baby as needed and she was treated with great care and dignity. They helped me with the aftercare details as well. I am beyond heartbroken but I am so grateful for these wonderful people. Dr. G will continue to care for my Molly and the next kitty who agrees to be a part of our family. Much love to the wonderful women of PWC.

PWC has helped me through so many issues with my cats. When we had elderly cats, PWC helped us give them the best possible quality of life. I am so grateful for everyone at PWC. I really believe my cats lives have improved dramatically since finding PWC.

We highly and unreservedly recommend Dr. Globerman and her staff, including but not limited to Ingrid and Deena. They have provided excellent care to our three cats (one of whom is elderly) and they also take good care of cat "parents" - and they are fun too!

Dr. Globerman and Ingrid (and the entire team!) are angels on earth! My husband and I have a kitty, Peaches, who is elderly with kidney disease (among other things!) and the quality of life turn-around that she has made in just the last few months has been nothing short of miraculous! We have been visiting PWC for 5 years now and they have been nothing but patient and supportive as we have tried new treatments and learned techniques to make her quality of life better. And her quality of life has improved dramatically!! We feel so empowered and supported by everyone in the PWC office and high-five each other nearly every day as we perform the techniques that we have been taught (daily sub-q fluids, anyone??!!). We know that every kitty and every experience is different, but PWC fits ours perfectly and we know that Peaches would not be here today without their love and support. We may not have much longer with our girl, but we have immense comfort knowing that she will have access to the absolute best treatments and a team that values quality of life tremendously. PWC has a big place in our lives and our hearts!

Dr. Globerman and Ingrid Johnson are truly the cat's meow. They have taken great care of my cats (and I drive an hour to get to them and it's worth every minute of my time) and Ingrid has helped me integrate a third cat. Ingrid has great tips on all kinds of behavior issues and Dr. Globerman clearly puts the cats' health and well-being as the most important goal. Dr. Globerman was so wonderful to take off just the top of the pet carrier with one of my cats who was anxious and she kept him covered the entire appointment so he felt safe and secure. I've had cats for many years and no has ever done that for one of my fur babies. I'm so happy I found them!!!

This place is a total rip-off. Astronomical prices and alleged maladies that don't exist. Both my friend and I were told that our cat had "fleas" and they tried to sell us a flea bath. No fleas on either cat. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Would like to give No stars but that is not possible. RESPONSE: Yes, I am certain that I have the correct facility. You did not just advocate a flea bath for my cat you did the same thing for my girlfriend's cat. We were both told at different times with different cats that our cat's had fleas and needed a flea bath. So despite any protests to the contrary that it was happened. Your staff seems to want to sell extra services similar to a used car salesman selling a car; a hard sell no doubt. I find the whole thing downright shameful.

RESPONSE: We remain perplexed by your review as we do not offer flea baths and have not ever done one or recommended one. Here is a link to our handout about flea control: http://pawswhiskersandclaws.com/?page_id=413 ORIGINAL REPLY: We are so very sorry that you felt you had a bad experience here. Please contact our office for clarification as we do not offer flea baths as they are an ineffective method of flea control, nor do we advocate bathing cats unless medically necessary. We will be happy to discuss any questions you have regarding the services you received and the charges for said services. We are always happy to provide an estimate prior to services being performed. Are you certain you have the correct facility as we have NEVER offered flea baths or dips? If you have not visited our facility, please kindly remove this review. Thank you!
I've shared my life with cats for over 30 years and I've had many veterinarians. I have used cat only vets predominately and Dr. Stephanie Globerman at Paws Whiskers & Claws is the best vet my cats have seen. The quality of the care is second to none and I have gotten innovative advice and quality of life information that makes every day better for my cats. Ingrid Johnson is a great resource for cat behavior analysis and ideas to make their lives better. I really feel that all the people at PW&C love my cats and I recommend PW&C to my friends who share their lives with cats.
