My husband and I have a 2 1/2 year old male tabby, who has been described by another vet as "agitated and aggressive". He really is the sweetest cat, but gets scared when he is handled roughly or by loud barking of dogs. From their website, I could tell that they understand cats better than any other vet. So, when we adopted a new 4 month old kitten, I knew we wanted her to come to Paws Whiskers & Claws. She and our oldest developed colds, and we have been to the vet several times in the past month. We never have anything short of a great visit and great service. I highly recommend them, and we will return to them anytime we need to, without a doubt.

After having a bad experience with two previous vets including the Cat Doctor, I brought my cat to this wonderful place. My cat has kidney disease and has been doing fairly well until just recently. It was time for his annual and I knew it was time for some bloodwork so I took him in The Cat Doctor. They examined him and told me he would definitely need some bloodwork at the cost of $800. I tried not to let my eyes bulge out too bad and decided to start looking around for another vet to check pricing. What heaven I have found for my kitty. This place not only examined him, did bloodwork, gave me a free lesson on how to adminster fluids, provided me (at a small fee) fluid supplies, and gave me tons of info on how to care for my cat....all this for under $300!! My cat is a terrible patient and I mean terrible. I usually do not like to hang around because his screaming breaks my heart but they talked me into staying so I could talk to him while they examined him. I was so impressed with how they handled him (often he has been knocked out). It took 3 people but they did a super job. Ingrid gave me my lesson and she was so thorough. She had me give fluids to a little kitty there so I could learn first hand how to do it. I went right home and successfully gave fluids to my kitty. Thanks Paws, Whiskers, and Claws....you guys are awesome.

In a nutshell: I really liked Dr. Globerman, and the front desk staff was very friendly; however, I had serious problems with the main vet tech, (Ingrid?) who was unresponsive to my concerns and whose attitude was extremely off-putting. I had asked in advance for my kitty to be put under anesthesia for the exam. She has a history of being very, very scared and badly behaved, and her past vets have had a hard time examining her without sedation. Additionally, she's an older cat with some joint pain, and I prefer that she is not handled roughly, as it leaves her sore and angry. Unfortunately, the vet tech was convinced that her expertise would obviate the need for anesthesia, and was pretty adamant about doing the exam without it. The tech was forceful with my cat, but in the end, still couldn't do the full exam--they could not administer any oral medication (gave it to me to administer at home), they did not check her urine, nor did they examine her teeth. (yet I was still charged full price). I would only return to this practice if it had a new technician.

I was referred to them by Good Mews, the place next door where I got my cat. They were great and explained everything I needed to know about having my first pet. They even help answer questions via email. Great place, highly recommended.

Dr. Globerman is a kind, compassionate person and does not declaw our feline friends! Julia and Ingrid are caring people. Expect lots of smiles and positive energy. We are grateful for such loving and caring staff. A role model for other vets. Thanks!

I have known Dr. Globerman and her staff, Julia, Ingrid, and Suzanne for years, since they were all at The Cat Clinic of Roswell. (For those of you who wonder why they are cat only, it is because cats are not seen as often at other vets and therefore those vets do not know as much about them. Also, with no dogs barking it is a lower stress atmosphere for your cats.) After the sale of CCR, there have been some changes I am not happy about so since i would no longer consider taking my cats to CCR I was happy to learn of Dr. Globerman's office. I drive an hour each direction to see the best. Because I have worked in this field before, I know that all vets are NOT basically the same. There is no one else I would trust with my beloved family members. They are the best. Professional, friendly, compassionate, understanding, experienced. They are happy to answer any questions and educate you on many misunderstood aspects, such as behavioral issues. I trust them for regular check-ups, sick visits, grooming, dentals, surgery, and emergencies. And you are always welcome to call and ask questions before you even set foot there. There is nowhere else I would take my cats.

Posted 13Sep08 - I was a customer of Cat Clinic of Roswell, and switched to Paws Whiskers and Claws after CCR was sold. I just popped onto Kudzu.com to describe how PWC exceeded expectations for my new kittens' first vet visit. I was surprised to read a review posted by Emilymylime, commenting on a technician, and would like to post a differing opinion. I have had the pleasure of consulting with Ingrid for more than seven years. She is the most skilled groomer you can find by far, and knows more about cat behavior than anyone I've met owning cats over 30 years. I have seen her handle cats with ease that owners swore were unmanageable, including one of my own. She puts the health and well-being of a cat first, always and unconditionally. My older cats with joint pain were gently handled without anesthesia until anesthesia was the only choice. There are many other reviews praising the staff. Emilymylime is entitled to her opinion, but I have not found circumstances she describes to be true of this office. I highly recommend all the staff.

This practice is the best in town. The quality of care and compasion for your cat is simply the best. I encourage you to give them a try. You won't be sorry!

After having been a client of PWC off-and-on for a few years, they've just ensured that I won't be back. Although their dedication to kitties is obvious, their attitude/treatment of clients - myself and others I know who use them - is often condescending and off-putting. As a very dedicated mom to a houseful of kitties, and former veterinary assistant for several years, I do my absolute best. I've used PWC for just two of my kitties, but have often felt like I was being treated condescendingly. But today really topped everything. I canceled an appointment last minute, which I admit was inconsiderate, but I just dreaded going back there and being made to feel like an idiot once again. What really shocked/upset me,however, was Dr. Globerman herself calling me and VERY angrily lambasting me for canceling and calling ME "inconsiderate" and "unprofessional"! Instead of asking if there was a problem with them which led me to make an appointment elsewhere, she went straight into attack mode, just CONFIRMING my reasons for going somewhere else! I've NEVER experienced anything like that from ANY business owner - much less a professional! When I did voice my issues with the practice, she said that what an owner may perceive as them being abusive/condescending is just intended to ensure the best care for kitties. Wrong! Maybe they've never heard the expression about attracting more flies with honey than vinegar. This would be a great clinic with a softer approach and less "attitude".

Dr. Globerman & staff are the best in town and anywhere. I only wish I could have taken them with me when I moved out-of-state recently. They are a great little clinic that truly cares about their patients. The staff took time to show me (for free) how to pill my cats. Plus they are never too busy to answer questions on cat behavior. Dr. Globerman also has donated her services for local cat rescue group charity auction. How cool is that!

This is the ONLY place to take a cat for vet care! There are no barking dogs, no long waits for Dr. G. and the vet techs are the best! This is like CHEERS for animals. Everybody knows your name. They take lots of time with each cat and give you plenty of attention too. Best of all you can stay with your fur-kid in the exam room for most every procedure. Everything about PWC is designed to keep you and your cat happy and well. Excellent care, excellent value for your money. They treat each cat as they would their own.

Dr. Globerman and her staff, Ingrid and Julia, are very compassionate, caring and knowledgeable veterinary professionals. We highly recommend PWC for those who desire the best care for the feline members of their family. We patronized the Cat Clinic of Roswell for 8 years until Dr. Merck sold the practice. Subsequent visits there left us feeling that things had changed too much. Then simply by luck we learned that Dr. Globerman had opened her own practice, employing Ingrid and Julia. What good fortune for us and our two kitties! We took them in recently for their annual exams and instantly knew this is the place for us. We want the best care for our animals and if you do too please make an appointment. You'll be glad you did!

It is obvious upon meeting Dr Globermann and her staff that they are there because they care - about the pets and the people. They were so supportive during my kitty's illness and eventual passing. I am beyond greatful that I discovered Paws, Whiskers and Claws when I did. I will recommend them to anyone that needs a feline vet! Even if you have to travel a little further than you might like, it's worth the drive to know you're cat is getting such extroidinary care.
