The guys at Peavey are first rate. They came to check my furnace and found it was a safety hazzard and showed me the problem. After learning the condition of both furnaces and air conditioning units I replaced both. I loved being informed every step of the way and receiving reminder calls about appointments. Everyone was informed and very pleasant and treated my home with respect. I would recommend Peavey A/C and Heating to everyone. Excellent service and quality at a good value!

I purchased a year maintenance plan with Peavey on Kudzu and recently had my heater inspection. Alan did a great job of evaluating my heating equipment and explaining his recommendations. He was on time and efficient with the work that was needed. Great experience!

Steven and Joe performed the fall inspection on my unit and did a thorough job. Joe kept me informed as they progressed making sure my questions were answered. I appreciated their professionalism and also Joseph who calls ahead to inform when the technician will arrive.

had Peavey out for a routine inspection and service - they did a fab job. Found some things that were in need of repair and gave me a fair estimate and repaired everything on the spot. Hugh and Chris were both extremely pleasant and knowledgable men to work with on this, including taking shots of our system which is located in a creepy crawl space that I would never go into! Was able to see what needed work and they showed me the repairs made afterwards too. Would recommend them to anyone needing any level of service.

I have a problem with the way my heating system was installed when the house was built that is now causing me some problems. Peavey came out and gave me an honest assessment on what needed to be done to fix the problem. There was no pressure from Peavey to do the work today. Some companies will say something like "I can take 10% off if you do it today."

We walked into the door and realized immediately that something was wrong with the AC. I left a message at 7 p.m., received a callback by 7:15 p.m., and had David at the house to resolve the problem at 8 p.m. He was quick, professional, efficient, and eager to address our short as well as long term needs. On top of that, the costs were less than another service provider we had considered a year ago. Overall, I highly recommend Peavey.

In yet another major Atlanta heat wave, Peavey rescued me with great quality and care. I highly recommend! My technician, Hugh Rowe, was awesome, thorough, and took time to explain and fix everything despite the miserable heat. So nice to find a good company!

I called these guys over a year ago and although expensive, I liked them. My how things change. Two weeks ago I called them out to check the A/C; the outside fan on the condensor unit was not working. Result? Bad capacitor on motor: charged $195; parts store cost is about $50. Freon servicing: charged $169; average cost is $18/pound;average home A/C unit capacity is 4 pounds; tech told me it wasn't "empty", just needed servicing. Really?

"Bear31088" Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. If the parts listed above were the only components involved in the price then it would not be fair. However, the price of the part is actually just one aspect out of many that comprises the price. Other components include: Over 1/2 of our Technicians are N.A.T.E certified (thousands in cost), we have all in house, background checked and tested co workers, our co workers are guaranteed 40 hours a week w/ full benefits, our average technician makes 25 + an hr, the overhead that is involved to have the quick response time and excellent customer service that we provide (typically 30% of cost), workman's compensation (20% of payroll), general liability insurance, marketing cost, training cost, high gas prices, fleet maintenance & insurance, Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers Training, Mitsubishi Diamond Contractors training, etc. If you take the cost of an average technician alone, by the time we match the taxes on the pay rate then we are paying over $50 dollars an hour just for the technician. Not to mention the company must make a profit in order to stay in business so we can respond same day to fix your air conditioner. Concerning the freon adjustment, we have an up front price to add additional freon. Bear approved the up front cost for freon. The system wasn't out of freon, it needed additional. Like a car that is low on oil, not completely out of oil. We also cleaned his outdoor coil for no charge saving him over $100 (included FREE in our service agreement). Since the review was posted, we refunded him for the Service Agreement he got started on and let him keep the value of the free outdoor coil cleaning. Overall, we feel and continually strive to provide the best value for the dependable expertise, customer service and top quality workmanship we provide. I highly recommend Peavey for your heating and air conditioning system. Whether you have a problem that needs fixing or if you just want to protect yourself against future problems. They have a great maintenance plan and they are super quick to respond. The owner is hands on and is eager to earn and keep your business.

More than any of the 5 companies I called to my home for estimates, Jason Peavey made me feel comfortable with his knowledge, non-pressure salesmanship, and encouragement to help me understand my heating/air operation and needs that helped me make an informed decision about my purchase. His crew, Alan and Chris, were also courteous and thorough. In spite of the heat they were working in, I never felt they rushed or were cutting corners. The owner, David Peavey, did the audit on the AC and furnace a couple days after the install, and came back yet another time to personally take of everything until I was 100% satisfied. He was also very personable and knowledgeable. These guys are the epitome of great customer service. I am sure I'll be a faithful customer of Peavey HVAC for many, many years and will definitely recommend them to anyone with heating/air needs in the future.

Kathy, Thank you so much for taking the time out of your very busy schedule to post a review about your experience. This review means a lot because from start to finish, these are the goals we continually strive to meet at Peavey. Every co worker is like a spoke of a wheel and if just one is missing than the wheel may spin but not effectively. That is why we put so much time in training and retaining quality co workers. I am speechless to hear we are "the epitome of customer service". Our AC unit went out and we called Peavey A/C and Heating to check it. We ended up having to replace the whole unit! However, David and Joseph Peavey made sure the process was painless! They both worked the whole day on a holiday weekend and also made sure they put up a small unit in our living room to help us get by. End result....very happy kids and of course that means a happy mommy!

I had Peavey out to inspect my AC unit and do possible repairs. They came out and inspected it and strongly suggested that it be replaced (which I had already known). They offered to attempt to repair the unit to limp it along but took the time to explain the risks involved. There was no pressure sales pitch and the technician was highly knowledgeable. I highly recommend their services.

When it comes to HVAC, Peavey is the first name that comes to mind. The staff is professional, courteous, on time, polite and do a great job of making you comfortable and knowledgeable about the service you are receiving. The technician has always taken the time to explain everything to me. I have recommended Peavey HVAC to many family and friends in need of repair of service. Just today I heard someone I've never met telling a coworker that her AC went out. I spoke up and gave her the contact information for Peavey and she'll be calling soon! With fair prices and A+ service, I will continue to spread the word about these guys and make them my go-to when I need HVAC service. Great job!!

I have used Peavey for a couple of years, now. I was impressed with them from their first visit. David Peavey has been on all but my first call. He is very professional, not only in his knowledge of his work but in his interactions with his customers. I recently had to replace an a/c unit and chose them. Chris installed the unit and was also very professional and did a great job. This is a company that believes in quality in all aspects of their services and cares about their customers. Being a Quality Mgr. myself, I know that Peavey is following many of the guidelines of a Quality System. I will recommend them to anyone in need of their services. They are a great company.

Peavey Heating and Air recently replaced my heat pump and I cannot say enough positive things about this company! The initial repairman was excellent. He met with me and explained what the problem was, what options were available, estimated costs and times, etc. He then set up an appointment for a free evaluation of what was actually needed based on the size and layout of my house plus what was already in place and how efficient the existing and vents and returns were. He was just as professional, knowledgeable and courteous and the initial repairman. Then, the installers were amazing. They installed the equipment, tested everything and cleaned up after themselves (never seen that before!!) all the while with expertise, experience and confidence that made me feel confident the system would work as promised. After the installation, the owner of the company came by to perform a quality assurance test to insure that everything had been installed perfectly. And I should also mention that the young man in charge of scheduling appointments was also great. He called me before each appointment to let me know when the people would be arriving. He was professional and courteous and was a perfect "first face" for the company. I would recommend this company without hesitation to anyone for HVAC work!
