This place is horrible with regards to appointments, professionalism and above all how they keep their medical records. Called the office to make a sick appointment for my child only to be told that they didn't have any openings for the day (at 830am), called again at 11am left a voice message and then again at 2p and as you can imagine by calling again at 4pm I was livid. Each time I called the nurses asked the same questions over and over (stating they have to triage him over the phone) and I'm like really are you serious do you guys even speak to each other and/or update this information in your system? So finally at 4p I demanded to speak to the doctor directly and she's all non nonchalant saying that she hasn't seen my child in over 3 yrs for this same condition and I'm like really lady what type of medical records are you keeping because we were just there a few months ago for the same thing? Needless to say she never offered an apology for the horrible customer service and unprofessionalism on the part of herself and the staff as they never returned any of my calls that day and only offered that I take my child to urgent care. She (Dr. Poole) also stated oh I'm only one doctor and I was like yes and I do understand that my son is not your only patient however a professional protocol would've been to have someone return the call early in the day and not have them waiting all day for you to say go some where else. Never ever again will our family use this doctor.

The only good thing I can say about the office is that it was clean. I didn't consider any of the staff to be helpful or courteous, with the exception of one kind man at the front desk. Dr. Poole was very brief and condescending in her tone. She did not explain any concerns she expressed, leaving me feeling very stressed as a new parent. My child was referred to get an ultrasound and the results were sent to Dr. Poole's office. I was never notified that the results came in and when I asked about them the receptionist told me that whoever took in the results never notified the doctor, therefore I was never contacted. This kind of slip up is unacceptable. Thank goodness nothing was wrong in the results. If you are planning on deferring vaccinations or not vaccinating this is definitely not the place to go. Before I chose this office I specifically asked about vaccinations and was told that it would not be an issue. Upon my first arrival I asked the nurse again, she told me that it would not be a problem if I wanted to defer vaccines. When I spoke to the doctor only moments later I was told I needed to find a new Doctor's office to take my child to. I do understand the policy's at doctor's offices vary and I can not expect everyone to see eye to eye with my beliefs, however, I do expect that the staff be on the same page with the doctor so that information is being told to patients correctly. Overall, this doctor's office was poor in quality and service.

Dr. Poole is a wonderful doctor. My son loved her since the first time he saw her as a baby. She learned our names right away and made us feel important and validated our concerns. She is the only doctor at her practice so you always get to see Dr. Poole everytime you go to the doctor-which I think is great!
