Had them out and another company told my mom they needed a new unit. Her unit was just sitting there buzzing and we thought the same thing. My neighbor told me to call Peppers for another price. When the repair man arrived he noticed ants all in the unit. The Tech blew out the ants and the unit cut right on. The repair man didn't even charge her because he didn't use any parts and only took him a few minutes to fix. I'm active in the Navy and can't be back home to take care of my mom every second. I highly recommend them.

I tried Peppers because I saw them service my neighbor's unit in the past. However, the neighbor moved away and I didn't get her opinion on their quality of service. THEY ARE HORRIBLE! My unit was blowing warm air and the first time the technician came out, he stated that he fixed a leak that he found and added 3lbs of freon. He then stated that he performed an electronic test and found no more leaks. He told me that there was a 30-day warranty on service. Well! After running the unit for less than 48hours, it was doing the same thing AGAIN! So, why did I call peppers and the evening on-call tech has the nerve to insult my intelligence by using scare tactics over the phone telling me that I need a unit, someone may have tried to unsuccessfully steal the unit, etc.??!!! Then, when tech #1 returns the next day, he's got an attitude because I'm asking him some basic questions?? What happened to customer service?????? Spoke to Mr. Peppers. He promises to try to make this right. Stay tuned to see if he does.
