Maybe? some had bad experiences, but some new and some previous staff VERY helpful, friendly, attentive. My lil' guy seemed to love Pet Spa--a whole week and he obviously was not neglected. His new hair cut really cute--and staff welcomed my long distance calls to check on my boy. Small facility; big attention. Try it! Shaggy Mom

I don't know what the other reviewers have against Pet Spa, but we have been taking our two Westies there for 3 years and have never had a bad experience. One night, or a whole week, we always take them there, and Pet Spa treats them great! They love going. We also get them groomed there, and they do one of the best jobs we've ever gotten. The value is great because comparable kennels and groomers can cost 2-3x as much.

DO *NOT* TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR DOGS. I had boarded my beautiful female pitbull several times before without incident. I entrusted her to Pet Spa from Friday 5/22-26. Got her home on Tuesday & bathed her & discovered big bleeding wounds on both front elbows, chest, all four feet, back leg & rump. She lay trembling with her tail curled between her legs, would not walk or barely raised her head. She had lost 9 pounds in weight in 4 days! I quickly videotaped her condition and went straight back - requested to see her cage and demanded an explanation. Renee said the facility had been very busy, otherwise nothing had happened. The manager Dick called me next day & said she must have been burned by bleach used to clean up the urine at adjacent cages. Not surprisingly she had been unwilling to go back into the cage and had to be 'forced' & dragged in - which must have caused the open grazes on her chest, feet and elbows, which were then burned by the bleach. Dick supplied an antibiotic salve. Please DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE - my dog could have died from their abusive treatment and neglect.

Extremely poor customer service, which you will find out on your own when you call for information or to set an appointment. I should have known the grooming experience would be bad based on that, but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because they are associated with my vet, who is absolutely amazing. I requested and paid for the puppy trim, nails, teeth and anal glands. The nails were not done for sure and I suspect neither were the teeth or anal glands. Despite all of the that, the worse part of the experience was when my dogs were finally ready for pick up (3 hours later than quoted), they were terrified and shaking like I've never seen before. They normally love people and aren't afraid of baths, so I'm not sure what that groomer did to them. Finally, just prior to leaving, I heard the groomer in the back (whom I did not speak with personally because she was too busy)yelling at the dog she was working with and the dog was whimpering. I just had my dogs groomed by Mike at Snazzy-Pets Mobile Grooming. He charges just about the same price; but came to my home on time, my dogs looked great and loved him!! They came back inside so happy and playing. Plus he offered really good advice for long-term dog health and happiness. Call Snazzy-Pets if you love your animals.

The groomer did not read the grooming card. I asked for 2 inches on the body and 1 inch on the legs. She left 1 inch on the body and 2 inches on the legs. I called them as soon as I realized their mistake and the groomer admitted to not reading the card. She also stated that the norm is longer on the legs than body so she assumed that what I wanted. I received an insincere apology backed by excuses on her mistake.

I boarded my 3 dogs here. They tried to charge differently than quoted price. 2 of my dogs were on meds. When I picked up, they hadn't used enough meds for 1 dog and didn't know what dog got what meds. The owner said it wasn't he fault, it ws the "kids that work for her." I feel she was responsible for her employees. You also must pay for a grooming before getting your dog. My Chiro had a similair wxperience. BEWARE
