We booked Pete & Mac's for our dog for 4 days. We inquired about handling difficult dogs because ours is no walk in the park. She is shy and difficult to work with at times until she settles in. They said this would not be a problem. We receive a call 6 hours after dropping her off that they are not a good fit with our dog but will keep her through our trip. I promptly removed my dog from the facility. Our dog has been boarded many times before, and never have we had issues. I tried Pete & Mac's for their outdoor area. When she was dropped off she had 7 food baggies and medicine. She should not have gotten any food, we received 5 bags back. They did not return her meds! WHO DOES THAT?! I would never take any animal that I feel is family to this place. They are horrible. The reviews were all correct on how they treat dogs. In that 6 hours she was there, she was not let out once even though we paid for extra time to go out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR ENDANGER YOUR PETS WITH THIS FACILITY!

Worst place to take a dog that's for sure. I worked there a long time and the things that are allowed there make me so sad. I brought up these things to management because i was so upset over them and i was let go because of it. They turned a blind eye to everything. Dogs getting skipped. Not getting played with in daycare. The person in daycare watching them just sits on there but and uses there phone the whole time. I was the only one not to do this. I loved playing with the dogs and loving on them. Some dogs would not get there potty breaks. Some would not get there meds, the list sadly goes on a long time. I would take you're dog somewhere else.

we had used Pete and Mac's a couple of times, and did not have any complaints...until we asked for a grooming. Two days after asking for the "furrminator" treatment, my dog is now covered in scabs all over her back and sided. I understand that sometimes mistakes can happen, but to find deeply covered scabs on your pet is distrubing. The fact that they washed the dog (told us it was a courtesy) to cover up the blood is something entirely different! If someone would have told us and apologized, we would have been upset, but we would have accepted it as an accident. But when that someone hides the damage and lies to you... I have already opened up a complaint with the BBB, and will take my dog to a vet to ensure there is no infection. Once that is done, I have every intention of suing Pete and Mac for the vet bill. I am not trying to make a buck, but they sure as heck need to be held responsible.

I've been boarding my rottweiler and cat here for about two years now, and never had any complaints. My dog gets to play with other dogs, and my cat has a huge window to watch birds from. The staff knows my pets by name when we arrive, and I only board a few times a year.

I would never use them again! My cat was there 5 days, lost 10% of her body weight and no one bothered to call us. When we picked her up, she was already in heart failure with open mouth breathing. $900 later at the Emergency vet, I had to have her put to sleep. I called them but couldn't get a straight answer from anyone. Please don't trust them...it's not worth your pet's life.

I've never received better service from a boarding facility. I feel like we got a good valule as most other places I've left my dog, I paid the same price for them to just leave her in the kennel all day, only playing with her for 15 minutes. Every time I called to check on my dog while away, I was able to get actual information, not the usual "she's doing fine" the other places give. I also liked the report card and ID card they provided. We'll never worry so much about leaving our dog again. She LOVED Pete & Mac's.

I take my dog here whenever I go on vacation and never really had a problem. He's plays pretty rough with other dogs so I was surprised when they didn't say anything about, but didn't really think twice about it. They seem friendly and the facility is about as clean as it could be with 50 dogs running around. The one thing that makes me rate them 3 stars is that when you leave this give you this "report card" about the things your dog did and how he behaved etc. well on the card they gave me it said my dog had a blast playing in there little play pool, but my dog hates water and won't go near it so I'm now very sceptical to as if they even watch the dogs or leave them outside unattended. I have to say I will probably use them again since it is close to my house and my dog has never gotten sick, but I'd hope they pay more attention.

I've boarded my lab there many times but never again. The last time we left her there she came home with fresh bloody wounds all over her hind legs and acted like she had been severely traumatized. She also did not get the exit bath I had paid for. I called the manager right away and he wouldn't come to the phone or return my calls. He finally called back after the 3rd call with no explanation as to what happened to my dog. He promised to investigate and call me back. Never heard from him again. The time before this incident, my dog came home with kennel cough and also did not get the bath I paid for. It's become obvious that there is little or no supervision when all these dogs are turned out to "play" outside. There is no option for private play time; your dog is thrown out with masses or kept in a cage all day. For what Pete & Mac's charges I 'd expect a whole lot more as to the care of my pet and response from the management when there is a problem.

For what I paid, I would have expected more. Dog came home with "kennel cough," urinary tract infection and many scratches on her body. Personally, I will never do business there again.

I always bring my little dachshunds here. They are wonderful!! They truly care about all the dogs that they board. When I pick up my dogs, they have a report card waiting that tells how well they behaved. All the staff at Pete and Mac's are so wonderful to work with!
