Picked up my dog Sunday from this place and I was horridfide. My dog stunk of urine, had a cut on his belly, and was scared out of his mind. I don't know what they did to him, but I will never be back.

There is no place that takes better care of pets than Pets Playhouse on Ponce. Richard is the perfect owner for the penthouse for pets! He and his staff treat Sheba as is she were family. Every time she even thinks she is going there it is like an eposide of "Dog's Gone Wild." We have to calm her down to put the leash on her. Then on the way over she is running from one side of the car to the other. Once we get into the place she makes a break for the area to see her friends! I can't say enough about Richard and his staff. My husband Joe, wouldn't even consider leaving Sheba with anyone else but Richard. Every dog owner should make haste to follow them on Facebook in order to follow the specials and events!

I take my two year old Shih Tzu here whenever I need a break or she needs to play! I love that they have cameras in all of the rooms so you can actually watch your furbaby at play. They're on facebook too and they have some great specials!

Our dog gets excited when we pull up to the place and runs up the stairs to go inside. He practically ignores my wife and I when we walk him in to drop him off... and he usually clings to us away from home! When we check him out online on their webcam, he is always in great spirits and is having a great time. For the price the boarding is excellent value. This is a dog-sitting service that delivers.

Moving to Decatur from LA has been a change. I found this place in a local magazine, scoped them out and gave them a try. Bass loves the place, he knows whats up when we head in that direction. Whats, best is that I can watch him on my notebook when I'm working or out exploring the town. The best thing for me is that he's tired when we get back to the Condo. Till we get a house, this is his backyard a few days a week.

We are very happy with Pets Playhouse. Our dog Rio loves the staff who takes great care of her. They are always smiling and very friendly. Their boarding is great too! Rio never comes home smelling like she been playing with dogs but smells very clean and that's without a bath!!! We love the numerous interactive cameras. It makes us happy to watch her playing with the staff and not just laying around. We recommend this facility to everyone who loves their pet!!

My welsh springer loves to play all day. He is only 15 months old and comes home tired form playing all day with his dog friends. In the mourning they know his name and are always smileing. When I pick him up I get a reoprt on his day if he jumped in the pool or ran around it. my pet loves this place and so so I. Jamie

Have used this place 3 times and must say they have it together. Like others, I watch my dog on web cam from out of state---employees have always been on hand interacting with the dogs be it inside or outside. I think this must be a competitive business -- some negative reviews sound like discontent former employees or the competition.

The coupons are inconsistent and misleading, the pricing fluctuates and is listed differently in multiple locations, and the customer service leaves a great deal to be desired. Dogs are put in kiddie pools (yes, put in - not necessarily of their own volition) and then come home wet and smelly. On more than one occasion I requested at drop-off a basic exit bath at the end of my dogs stay. Upon picking them up, the owner tried to charge me for a much more expensive bathing/grooming including other services I never wanted done and clearly did not request. I learned then to call a day in advance of pick-up to confirm the basic bath. To which they replied, the expensive one was indeed listed in the chart/file. Once I paid for a grooming package that included having my dog's anal glands expressed. Not long after I had to bring my dog to the vet to have the glands expressed - she said that they were not done properly in the first place, yet I had been charged for the service at Pets Playhouse and was never told of any problems. I did ask at Pets Playhouse about the process and the back room employee at pick up time said everything was just fine. No problem. I could go on and on. The bottom line: I used to bring my dogs to another daycare/boarding facility but was willing to give Pets a number of tries over many months. Do your homework and read the numerous negative reviews -given threats and intimidation by the owner I/dogs certainly will be going elsewhere.

We use different coupons in different areas to see what gives us the best results for advertising.
We have baby pools for your pets to play in. We do not force any dog into the pools. We always get permission in writing from the owner before they are allowed into the pools.
You can check out photos of the dogs playing in the pools on our web-site, and you can judge for yourself if the dogs look like they are forced into the water. We are so confident in our facility that we allow unannounced tours up to 5PM daily and we offer 13 web-cams that run 24/7.
Dogs love daycare. Duh. But my acquaintences dog Malakai did not come out alive from this place last week (June 09) How SAD and Frightening! The management and 'terms' state pricing can be modified at PPonP owners discretion. They couldnt explain the bill to me and when I pointed out the errors they said sorry they couldnt adjust it and the owner could give me store credit?!? I dont want to come back here... I like my dog alive and living. They had 3 chances at a week a piece and they struck out. Bottom of the barrel business. Oh and DEAD DOG! Need I say more? PS they copied their website from the competition and give dog daycare a bad name. Read the FINE PRINT - they can SELL you dog too!

I am updating my review on this place since they think I am the competiton. I actually I work for Dekalb County government. We used this place once and won't go back. They don;t care a lick about your pet.
