The place looks very upscale and the food is bit pricy compared to the portion you get. But I guess people come here mostly to be seen, so it's the atmostphere that sells.

The Pewter Rose is a Charlotte "establishment" so I was really excited to have a nice meal there. The atmosphere is great and the staff is extremely nice. I do wish they had a wider variety on the menu and it's a bit pricey but I do think it's worth the trip.

Pewter Rose draws on the diverse, ethnic and cultural heritage of the United States, relating it to the palate of the region. It is an eclectic fine dining bistro.

needs wider variety of food. some of the "unique stuff" is not that good (polenta, yuck). nice for a romantic getaway...but don't expect to get out of there without dropping a bunch of dough
This restuarant was cool before all the new COOL restuarants came to Charlotte! It has atmosphere, a unique and varied menu that is yummy and entertainment if you want that too. Great brunch!
