I am a current tenant in process of finishing my lease from this company. I have stayed here (Studio 96) since moving in Nov '12 & my lease will be up Oct '13 (this year). I ended up getting my electricity turned over in my name before the end of Jan. I had paid for my previous service to what I owed to the company (from the mos of Nov, Dec, & Jan). Since then I keep getting told that I still "owe" them money for OPPD. I have refused to pay them. Since I've moved in last year, my kitchen sink is leaking underneath & hasn't been fixed (despite several calls & text messages), as well as my toilet is constantly running (also several calls/ 2 work orders supposedly put in & text messages to my landlord) which was also never fixed. DO NOT rent from this company. Amy- the GM (or whatever she is) for the company, never answers her phone (I also worked for an answering service that took after hours maintenance calls for this company & a few others), and she never addresses issues that would be considered of an ER nature, she will also lie about things & from everything I read, they will keep your deposit regardless, if your place is clean or not (everything was overly filthy when I moved in- had to deep clean everything). I would suggest, if you do decide to rent from this company (Put everything in writing & make copies of all communications to cover your butt). Or you can just save yourself the trouble & heartache & just not rent from them.
