I've been sampling pho places up and down Buford Hwy and around Atlanta for 10 years now, and I can say with confidence, this is THE BEST EVER in Atlanta. You'll know what I'm talking about when you smell the actual spices used to make the broth. It hits you when you walk in the door. All the meat parts are excellent, they don't try to get cheap with the basil and other toppings and the prices are just like in Orange County - dirt cheap! Man, now all we need is a Lee's sandwich shop - in Midtown!

We love Pho 79. Have eaten there for several years at the old location and now at the new location. We love the Spring Rolls and BUN in the Summer and the soup meals in the Winter. I am sure you will find the food and service to your liking. Enjoy.

This is one of the Best Vietnamese Restaurant in town. Not the best decoration but the food is authentic (just like in Vietnam). As for price: just right. The proof it is authentic: a lot of the people eating there are Vietnamese. Really a great experience. You will find the real authentic South Vietnamese soup: the Pho. There are many different versions of it and Pho 79 has many of them.

Pho79 was one of my favoriets for many years. They are fantaticly authentic and Lee the owner is always spoiling her customers. They recently moved to a larger location at 5000 Winters Chapel Road just up the road and 2 miles West on Winters Chapel.

There are several noodle soup restaurants in this area, but Pho 79 is the best of all of them. They are large servings served quickly and have a very helpful friendly staff. The owner is very personable and will visit with every customer to assure a good experience. Large-screen TV going with their collection of music videos playing all the time. If you venture away from the soup, they will help the novice to understand the items and custom order for you if needed.

I've visited twice and had great experiences both times. The owner is so nice and always makes sure that ou enjoy what you order. One time she told us not to order something, that another dish would be fresher and more authentic. The Vietnamese music videos can be a little tiring after awhile, but it still makes for a fun atmosphere.
