I've rented for years and never have I been so treated so badly. I rented the apts by the Harrison County Pool and the landlords were great people. I lived for a year and they were bought out by Pinnacle Properties (Indian Creek Apts) A month after they took over I got a notice saying either sign the lease or pay $800 a month! I tried to explain I was in the process of buying a house and could not afford that much rent for a month. I was told either sign the lease, pay the $800, or I would get evicted. I called Management and left the messages pleading them to call me and that I would like to discuss the situation. Never at any point was I rude or angry. But I never got a call back. So I was forced to sign the lease and back out of buying a house. I still had to pay an additional $300 and they raised my rent $60 more a month. I was stuck, they knew it, and took advantage of me. They were entering my apartment as they please. I was NOT okay with this! The previous owners gave a 24hr notice but this company did not say anything at all. I took my concerns to management again and they said they have every right and could care less what I thought about the situation. Of course I was in a lease and there was nothing I could do. They soon after sent out letters to everyone apologizing for everything that happened. It was definitely damage control because they made so many people angry. Stay away from these people!

DO NOT TRUST THEM! RUN FAR AWAY!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!! I just moved here from MS, and when I found Pinnacle Properties on Craigslist, I thought they seemed like a reliable company. When they advertised to me a "3 bedroom home, with new carpet, new sheet rock and new paint, for $725/month" I thought I found the perfect home for me and my 2 daughters. When I got here, 770 miles and 3 states later, the home wasn't even a 3 bedroom, it was a 2 bedroom. Nor did it have new carpet or new paint. There was one wall that didn't even have sheet rock on it, and you could see the studs. When I refused to move in, and asked for my $925 back, they said they would not refund my $925, and had their lawyer send me threatening letters. Are you kidding me? Because I don't have money to hire an attorney, I am taking it into my own hands, so nobody else has to get ripped off like I did. DO NOT TRUST THEM! RUN FAR AWAY!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!!
