I have always received good service unlike several of the reviews below. But I always call ahead to make an appointment. If you hate waiting then I totally recommend to call ahead. True the staff at the counter is not friendly, but the girls that I've had do my nails have always been very friendly and sweet-- and that matters more to me than the receptionist up front.

I bought a voucher from living social for a mani/pedi for $25 (deal said it was a $55 value) Called to make an apt and was told it was for a polish change only. A polish change only for $55???. I asked for the manager to call and the lady said she would let her know and have her call me. No return call. Manager absolutely must not care which goes along with other reviews. I honestly don't know anything about the actual service and never will as I would not do business with someone like this. BTW, got my $$ back from livingsocial.

This would have been my second time going to Polished for the Minx Manicure... The first time I was impressed because my service was quick and satisfying... I made an appointment with the chic selam(this is my first time seeing her) and it was booked a week in advance and I also requested for an appt on their website in comments for 11/24(which no one responded)... When I get there this broad said she scheduled me for Sunday, how does Sunday sound like Tuesday... And she had the nerve to tell me she wouldn't have told me that I could have came on Tuesday because the Tech is not there then.. I was livid and told her she was so unprofessional and I scheduled at this particular time because I had a flight the next day, she could not look me in my face... She just apologized with no meaning to it because she didn't look up when she said it and kept doing whatever on the computer... I told her next time you make sure you confirm appts when you make them make sure you repeat yourself... So this broad ruined my DAY!!! Will find another spot to go to...

I really enjoyed my experience. It was easy to make an appointment and the place was nicely decorated and clean. The prices are also quite reasonable. I had a basic pedicure (after a nice foot soak in pink water) and manicure. I also had my eyebrows threaded. The service could have been slightly "warmer" - but I like the fact that they didn't go overboard trying to chat me up. I will definitely go back.

this place looks adorable, but the customer service is lacking - they act like they can not be bothered. To pay a higher price you should have a better experience, and that was not at all the case. would not go back...

I was very impressed with my first experience at Polished. I made the reservations online, and was emailed a response within a few hours. I showed up on time for my appointment, and was greeted warmly and led to my chair with no wait. I was most impressed by the cleanliness of the shop; having had some issues in the past with shops that didn't property sterilize equipment, Polished was a breath of fresh air. I had a great pedicure (Island Goddess) and a basic manicure. Both were very well done, and I loved that the manicurist was very gentle with my fingernails as I've only recently grown out my nails from a disastrous allergic reaction. This was the first salon I've been to since the summer, and I will definitely go back again. It's a little pricier than some, but for the convenience, professional work and cleanliness it's worth every penny!

I booked a spa party here for my birthday and I was very disappointed at the lack of professionalism and customer service. My party was supposed to begin at 6:00pm and when I arrived there were still customers inside the spa. Nothing was set up and ready for our party. Mind you we paid the $100.00 fee to have the spa reserved for ourselves. They did not start working on us until 7:15 and then several workers had ATTITUDE while servicing us. Our martinis were given to us in small plastic cups that weren't even half filled and we were told they did not have enough real martini glasses for our party. That's strange considering Thursdays is free martini day for all customers. Don't book a spa party at this establishment because I felt like we should have been pampered and instead we were treated like it was a hassle for us to be there. An apology was given to us by one of the workers, but not by the owner who was in the spa and helping with the services. Take your business elsewhere where you will get more for your money and the respect and decency that should should come along with a business that offers good customer service.

I have been going to polished for some time now. I have never been disappointed in their service, the staff is wonderful. My manicure and pedicure always last. Try the barefoot on the beach pedi that includes a scrub, mineral mask and warm towel wrap. Also "sweetie" does wonderful brow threading.

I went to Polished for the first time last weekend. I took my mom to get manicures and pedicures for Mother's Day. The service was great, the salon was very clean, and my manicure and pedicure have held up very well. I really enjoyed the experience and I've already booked my next appointment!
