Before buying ANYTHING, let alone a puppy, from this store and supporting the horrific conditions the owner keeps these dogs in, please check out this news article from Chicago Tribune. This store was placed in the TOP 100 WORST puppy mills in the COUNTRY! Only two were Illinois, one of which is this store! Please do not support this store in anyway! Your pets will thank you! I bought a very sick puppy from this store and ended up spending thousands of dollars on his care since then. After filing complaints, store refused to reimburse for expenses or to make amends for selling a sick animal with false AKC papers. The Better Business Bureau rates this business as an F. Couldn't agree more. It's disgusting the lengths that this business will go through to make a few dollars.

WARRNING: Do not buy from this store. Tammy is not a legitamate breeder. She is ready to sell when you want to buy, but if you encounter problems, you are on your own. HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU 10 TIMES. She sold us 2 dogs both with kidney and GI problems. A good breeder never sells 2 dogs from the same liter in case of something like this. She was not there when our pups got sick. We spent over $10,000 trying to save our dog and lost one of them. A good breeder does not sell you on a dog, rather makes sure you are a suitable dog owner. WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. Look up your breed and it's club of america for breeders.

I would absolutely not recommend getting a puppy from Poochie Puppy Parlor. The claim is:breeder, but it is essentially it is only a puppy shop, according to a very reliable source. I bought a puppy from here in March of 2008 and he was very sick. Knowing this info I tried contacting the "breeder" and she was unresponsive and didn't care. I left 4 messages, in a two day period with no response, and took me threats to get the owner to call me back. There is not enough room to write all my complaints, but the bottom line is they don't care about the well being of the dogs, they seem only in it for the money. Also, the owner/"breeder" was unsympathetic to the likely possiblity of the sick puppy transmitting his illnesses to my current animals, which are the loves of my life. Through all of this fiasco I love my new puppy and will do everything it takes to make him healthy and happy. I am just glad I saved him from and unhealthy, virus filled home. Is that the type of person you want to care for your dog before you? **Please beware that diarrhea is not always an effect of a nervous stomach, it also is a major sign of parasites/and or worms. It is better to get a negative test to be safe than leave untreated.**
