As I was calling several places, interviewing and asking questions while trying to select a CPA firm for a new business, I called Powell & Booth. I will never know if they are a great firm to work with because I couldn't get past the gal who answered the phone. As I was explaining to her what I was looking for, she was short with me, cut me off several times, and was rude. Enough so that I just said, "Never mind," as I hung up. If the firm is anything like the gal who answered the phone - no way. It's unfortunate that the firm lost a potential client with multi-million dollar revenue because of the girl who answered the phone. They should reconsider who is and how they are presenting the firm at that important initial point of contact.
