I recently boarded my dog with this vet clinic. When I arrived to pick him up, I had a charge for an antibiotic on my bill that I was not expecting. When I questioned the charge and my dog was brought to me, he had an open sore on his side. I was told it was a "hot spot" and it was due to the stress of boarding. I was concerned as my dog has boarded for years and has never come home with a "hot spot". I was also concerned that no one had called me to make me aware. Over the next several days, my dog refused to eat, became dehydrated and was not acting himself. I took him back to the vet who again told me it was the "stress" of boarding and wanted to charge $107.00 for the visit some fluids and vitamin B, they also indicated he may have gotten "kennel cough". I asked the office manager contact me to discuss my concerns. She said they did not need to contact me regarding the hot spot as it was a "minor" concern. She deflected all of my concerns back on me (as we had notice other scratches on my dog). She was very rude and ended up hanging up on me in the end of the conversation. She was very uncaring in regards to my concerns. I will not use this vet in the future.
