I have had 5 tattoos done, all by Zach who was amazing. However, he is no longer there. I went in to get a simple tribal addition on my chest and it was done by Rob Thomas. I cannot say how disappointed I am. Issue - this was a simple stay within the lines black tattoo. Much to my surprise I noticed a bigger permanent effect due to his incompetency. This result is call a "Halo": BME/Risks: Extreme Tattoo Ink Bleeding Posted on January 8, 2013 by Shannon Larratt "It's not unusual for some people to get a slight "halo" of color around their tattoos, as the ink moves out via capillary action and permeates and stains subcutaneous tissue. Sometimes this is because of a mistake make by the artist (for example, tattooing too deep). Obviously Rob did not provide the same level of skill and service as Zach had during prior tattoos. He was tattooing too deep resulting in a permanent sub-standard tattoo which I will have to look at the rest of my life. My advice would be to avoid Psycho Tattoo at all costs. The place has completely gone down-hill since their relocation to Marietta. And if you must go there for some reason, don't let Rob Thomas touch you! In addition, Chris, who I think is a manager of some sort, was nothing short of rude and obnoxious. Feeling that there was no way that I would go back, I asked for my "floating deposit" and he refused. Worst customer service I have ever seen. If I was the owner I would fire him for sure.

I have been to Psycho Tattoo several time and my experience every time has been amazing. Once I got past all the tattooed scary looking people I found everyone to be very helpful and sweet. Elliott Holland pierced my nose, ears, and navel. He is knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. Rob B has tattooed me twice so far and he was a very creative artist. I will not go anywhere else.

I went into Psycho Tattoo in Douglasville and met with James Cooper. I wanted to get a name and a touch up/redo of a rose garden around my leg. James was very good. He took my idea and thought about it and I came back and he made it amazing. Not only did he take the roses and touch them up he made them come to life. It looks like they are in 3D. The atmosphere was wonderful and clean and the people were very nice. This is the nicest shop i have ever seen and I have seen alot. I have 8 tattoos and a tongue piercing. I wish I had went to him sooner. I will be back for sure. It was a true pleasure. He also helped me ease my pain with breathing excersises after the 2nd hour got unbarable. He was awesome and I will never get tatted by anyone else!

They have the cliche attitude in psycho tattoo, but the work makes up for it. I've seen several tattoos from there & they are beautiful. I've gotten my nose & belly button pierced there and they did a great job.

I went to Psycho in Marietta based off the reader reviews, and internet recommendations. I was VERY pleased with the entire process. I went in on a Friday night, and was promptly asked how I could be helped. An artist was brought over, he looked at the design I was interested in getting, and was able to recommend how to make it perfect. He gave me his portfolio to look over and see if I was satisfied, then had me make an appointment for the next day. When I arrived on Saturday for my appointment, he had 2 designs drawn up for me; I picked my favorite and we went to the table. He was very picky about lining it up just right, and had me check it about 3 times to make sure I was completely fine with it. He stressed over and over that if ANYTHING was not perfect, it was totally fine for him to change it. The application process was SO sterile, it was a relief. Matt Klowan was my artist, and I highly recommend him to anyone interested in getting a tattoo. 2 thumbs way up!

My wife and I both went to the Marietta location. Immediately, they were polite, asking what they could do, and directing us to the best artist for what we wanted tattooed. The guys loved picking on each other while working, making the environment fun and stress-free. They were respectful towards my wife and genuinely helpful with all questions. The studio is clean, sterile, professional, and entertaining. Great work guys, we'll definitely be back soon.

These guys do a great job with your tat! My artist listened to me when I was telling him what I wanted, worked with me on the design, and got it exactly the way I wanted it to be. The studio is clean and well kept.

Clean and sanitary, you can trust them not to infect you with anything and their artists range from adequate to stellar. Take your time selecting an artist at this studio. They have many, but only accept the best. Beware of their rock star attitudes, but otherwise a great place.
