My dog has gone to Pleasant Valley Vet Clinic since she was a puppy. Five years ago after getting married and moving about 90 miles away we found a new vet in our new home town but it was not the same. Our dog saw a different vet each visit and they didn't seem to really care about her. We changed to a new vet who we liked better. Recently our dog needed a tumor removed. The estimate they gave us was between $893 and $1442 and we had already spent $200 for x-rays and blood work. That is more than our mortgage. After doing some research online I discoverd this was a very high price. I called Pleasant Valley and they said they would love to help our dog. The estimate was much lower. We did not have to do x-rays or bloodwork again just provide a copy. And even though she had not been there for five years everyone recognized her and loved her and took good care of her. I swear you would never know she had surgery three days ago. She has about a 10 inch incision and lots of stitches but it is healing nicely. She doesn't seem to even know she had an operation. She is too busy following my husband around the kitchen and out to the grill to see if he is making anything for her! We love everyone at Pleasant Valley and it was well worth the two trips there so far. We have one more trip to have the stitches removed.
