Pyro's response There are two sides to every story Pyro does not run from warranty situations, however we do not warranty other peoples work. Some missing facts not stated: This customer was a club member for some of their units, but not the unit that was the problem,a Mitsubishi mini split air conditioner. By admission of the owner, this unit was purchased on the internet & installed by someone else. (Almost all manufacturers will not warranty a unit purchased on the internet, they require it be purchased thru & installed by, a trained, certified, dealer.) This is to avoid the situation where, a unit does not work because of poor installation. While diagnosing this unit, we called Mitsubishi's Warranty hot line & Mitsubishi told us the unit was NOT under warranty. (BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN PURCHASED ON THE INTERNET) the warranty would have been for parts from Mitsubishi. Pyro was under no obligation for warranty labor because Pyro did not install the unit. In addition: before Pyro started working on this unit it was serviced several times by another local contractor (we were shown the work orders) and still had at least 3 major repair issues. After working with the factory service help line, we determined the unit was not worth fixing, and advised Twintimes to look to the installing contractor, or the previous servicer. Pyro, on it own initiative, refunded 100% of the money that Twintimes had spent on this situation. Questions? Call Steve Andersen owner

Used Pyro for 12 years. Disappointed with their lack of service and customer care when I needed a repair. I paid Pyro a monthly fee for their preferred membership club. As soon as I had a unit that had warranty claim, they dropped me as a customer. I guess all they wanted was my money without doing any work. I highly recommend you do not use Pyro Heating & Cooling.

I had them out to get a price on a furnace, and instead got a 3+ hour sales pitch. The kicker -- the rep wouldn't leave a quote, even though he had quoted prices for everything but what I was looking for the entire time he was here. Instead, he wanted to come back after all my estimates were in from other contractors so he can "present" his proposal to me and my spouse. I put that appointment off, subsequently asked for it to be emailed to me and got nothing but pushback. I never did get their estimate, but I did hear from a number of local providers that is the game they play. If their estimate couldn't stand on its own merit, I think I am better off having avoided the follow-up pressure sales job.

I have used Pyro for 9 years and they have done extensive work on our older heating system. Great company, great service men and work always done quickly, clean up after themselves and I have never had a recall because repair wasn't done correctly the first time.
