My encounter with them started when I saw them on Groupon and they convinced me not to buy it through Groupon but directly through them. They called me at 10pm the night before my schedule move in time and asked if they could come earlier. I said that would not work and they asked if they could come after 1pm. I said no and they said they would show up at 10. They show up at 10:40. When moving my sofa into my new apt, they ran it into a wall and ripped off the dry wall bent the frame. When they uncovered the sofa, it was covered in black stuff that would not come off. My coffee table is completely ruined and scratched beyond repair. The mover said he would come out himself and fix my wall and spray some "Awesome" on my sofa to get out the stains. When I said I wanted to speak to the owner first he said "Since there is a problem you just keep the $134 n repair you own damage". That was the amount I did not pay them because I wanted my stuff fixed first. I did pay them $220 which I now regret. The owners phone now rings once and beeps and can not be reached.

My wife purchased groupon to have some heavy furniture moved from different levels of our house so no truck was needed. Made appt. They called my wife at 5:50 PM the day before she could not take the call so they texted her and she responded within 10 minutes appt. early next day. They texted the day of appt. saying you are not scheduled at a different time of the day. My wife called and tried to get movers as we had reshuffled our day. They said they would dispatch someone. Driver called and said would be there in 45 minutes. No show. So wife called driver after over an hour to see where they were. They still 45 minutes away. We cancelled and said would reschedule since we saw all bad reviews on yelp and kudzu. They know do not return calls. Very unprofessional and now would not allow in house. Also, told about $45 trip fee after the fact. Stay away!

I wish I had come to Kudzu before I bought the Groupon & used this moving company. Over three hours late! Completely destroyed property at the place I moved away from & the place I moved to with the truck. Surprised me at the end with an additional $45 "fuel fee" . (Never stated on the Groupon. If this is a standard charge it should be part of the groupon. They claim it'sd not.) Never gave me a copy of the contract they had me sign on the spot. Had to force the driver to make up a receipt for the additional $45 I had to shell out on the spot. Stay away from these guys! I called the company back to complain. They kept avoiding me. They only called me back after I sent a complaint to Groupon.

These guys broke our washing machine, then refused to compensate us in any way. When we paid for an Sears estimate on the totaled machine they claimed we must have damaged the washer ourselves. Now we are taking them to court and they are impossible to contact. There were MANY other problems on moving day you might be interested in knowing about. I'm not going to waste time writing details, but here's a point-by-point summary: - they were 2.5 hours late - they moved extremely slowly so the move took a lot longer than estimated - their dolly was broken and rather than going to get a good dolly, they just guided our items down the stairs (hence the broken washing machine) - they smoked right outside our door - they don't appear to be insured, even though they claimed they are - they rarely answer the phone, and children are often crying in the background - they don't respond to emails - they have a fraudulent location on googlemaps, claiming they are located in Marietta Square - their owner refused to call me back, but did send derogatory text messages calling me a whiner because I wanted compensation for them breaking our washer - they are not trained to disconnect and reconnect front-load washers and dryers. Weeks before the move, they claimed they were trained to handle them and would bring the appropriate tools. When they showed up they had no tools and no knowledge. The dryer was fixed by a Sears professional, but the washer was destroyed beyond belief.

Contracted to move me and they were suppose to be there at 3:30.At 2:30 the driver called and stated they were running behind. I cslled him at 5:30 and he said it would be 7 or 8 they showed up at 9:30pm, the middle of the nite.Damaged a piece of my furniture and now won't replace it or even return my calls. Forget trying to get them to return your calls.The grief is not worth it,Now I have to take them to small claims court,

Dont waste your money buying the coupon off this site. If you do manage to get someone on the phone after twwo weeks of calling they wont show up. I had three scheduled appointments with these people and they never showed up. On the fourth appointment they did show up but were not careful with my furniture at all. The dragged my leather furniture on concrete. I light was knocked down in my hallway and the bottoms of my dressers were also dragged on the ground. They were also very unprofessional

WORST moving company EVER. The ad said they included boxes but they didn't. They were no shows three times for me and the first two times they didn't even call to let me know (after I'd taken off of work). They didn't call to reschedule-- I had to do so. The operator was working from home (you could hear kids screaming in the background) and used a personal email address. The website includes "paulmoore69" as part of the address-- good indicator for lack of professionalism before you even have to go through the experience.

I used this company for a move back in February of this year. They get a star for having an extremely professional driver. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the drivers' partner who made me feel incredibly uncomfortable with inappropriate questions and while constantly referring to me as "babe" and "beautiful". Valuable time and money were spent while he was attempting to chat me up. My friendliness is not permission to become familiar with me nor is it professional to stop, engage a paying customer when their belongings should be deposited as efficiently as possible. I had already spent $100 on the voucher and was getting billed an additional $99/hour on an extremely tight budget. With all the constant small talk, dropped boxes, furniture hitting the walls of my new residence, several crashes and the time being drawn out to what seemed as long as possible, I was very irate. Fours hours later, the move was complete and I was left with damaged property. I contacted the owner of this company and got no response. Unfortunately, I cannot in good faith recommend this moving company.

I used this company to move my 3bd rm house, we had a lot of heavy items but One Moore Stop Movers where fast,efficenit,and careful with our furnishings. I would use them every time I move and it didnt cost me an arm leg and foot either.
