Real Property Services defines the word "Slum Lord" I lived in my house for over a year and was a great tenant. I loved my house and took care of it as if my own. When my lease expired I got a letter saying I couldn't renew and I had 2 weeks to be out. I thought this was against the law but to my surprise the lease actually said in small print that it was allowed. So on top of my 60 hour a week job and packing up my 3BR house I had to find a new place for my dog and I. Any dog owner who has looked for housing knows this is no easy task. I left the house perfectly landscaped and spotless when I moved even with the short notice I was given. 2 weeks later I received what I thought was going to be my security deposit check and to my amazement it was a bill for almost $500!! They found ways to charge me for normal wear and tear to their house and plumbing. The list of bills and charges is totally ridiculous and the only things that were replaced were a faucet and a door that was damaged by termites and a light cover. I was also charged $500 for fumigation that was never done and $600 to clean my hardwood floors. None of which was due to my neglect nor cost the $2600 they have billed me for. Now I am stuck in small claims court trying to get my deposit back and trying to make sure they can never do anyone else. Times are tough and it is a crime that anyone can get away with this!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
