Hello! My name is Michael Lanning. I have been a residential handyman for nearly twenty years now, having started my work as a high school student making extra money by helping some friends in the Termite business in the sub-contractor damage repair side of the industry, performing all kinds of home repairs. This experience began to accumulate, and my skill level and scope of work began to increase. Now, at 35 years old, I am a student once again and still seeking new.. customers for small projects in the residential renovations and home repair business to help me while returning to college as a full time student.
Yes, it is correct if you assumed by reading this as most people do that it is not my intention to establish a massive general contracting firm. yes, it is just as I said, I am using my skills to put myself through college and I inted to work in an undecided field, thus I am still a handyman, and this should explain whyu I do not have the non-required contractor's license. Yes that is correct, the HANDYMAN is not required to have a license in order to perform his normal jobs, as long as hired directly by the owner of the property for work with the total price of the single invoice of more than five hundred dollars, or if the job is less than five hundred dollars when working for a party OTHER than the owner of the property where the work is being performed.
With this, I look forward to helping you in your new projects. I hope to hear from you very soon.
Just want to give everyone a heads up that Mike @ Residential Solutions is not a man of his word and has no empathy for potential customers. He had posted items for sale on Craigslist that I had responded to confirming I'd buy it next day. He then went and sold the item hours before my wife was supposed to pick it up. Please be careful when dealing with Mike as he does not seem to have the customers best interest in mind.
