I'm generally happy with the service I received at the Kennesaw location. However, there are two things that need to be adjusted/improved. First, when I had MRI done, my doctor made the arrangement - directly making an appointment with the MRI service at the same location. I later found out that the MRI service there was out of network for my insurance, and I was stuck with $400+ expense. I don't necessarily expect the doctor to know this information, but it seems like their clerical staff should have known this. I think this practice is rather deceptive and they need to change. So, be aware of this trickery if you have to have MRI. The other problem is with the receipt I've been getting with my PT. There are different receptionists, and one can print the receipt with the details - enough specificity for my Health Spending Account purpose. However, others cannot print the same detailed receipt, and it only says "purchase" which is not going to cut it with HSA (or actually with the IRS). Why can't they print out the detailed receipt, I have no idea.

I called Resurgens with a complaint of terrible back pain. At my appt they did an X-ray of my back in the wrong area and missed a compression fracture. They recommended an MRI. I waited 2 days for a call back, only to be told they could not do an MRI because of my medical issues. I called back to ask for guidance, NEVER got a call back. Luckily, another doctor of mine recognized the problem and sent me for emergency treatment. Upon discharge I was referred back to the practice. Thinking they were involved in my care, I returned for an appointment. They questioned me about my problem, they had no records and clearly they had no clue. They did not do the surgery but they were quick to try for the follow up business. They couldn't even do that competently, through it all they were arrogant and condescending. Do yourself a favor, try another practice unless you are sure about the competence of your chosen doctor.

Recently, I had surgery for trigger fingers done by Dr. Kay Kirkpatrick. It went extremely well. She & her staff are knowledgeable, professional & efficient. They were always polite and very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Kirkpatrick & her staff. Their facilities are very clean and well kept.

I have had 5 appointments, each time the staff was caring and respectfully. The facility was clean and neat. I was at ease about my surgery. The only issue was getting the billing person to return calls.

I have just read several negative reviews and find it hard to believe that we are talking about the same place. I have had several surgeries for trigger finger(s) since 2003. Each time Dr Kirkpatrict was my surgeon of choice. I find all the staff to be professional, knowledgable, caring how I feel, etc. I would recommend Resurgens to my friends.

Dr. Hollinger and his assitant were awesome with my middle schooler. Humor and direct talk at his level eased his fears. I highly recommend Dr. H and crew if you are unfortunate enough to have to need the service.

I have had a knee replacement (Dr. Lane), carpel tunnel release (Dr. Holliger)and back injections (Dr. Finkelstein). These folks are thorough, professional and competent. The receptionists were courteous, the assistants were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. After seeing 3 different doctors for 3 different problems and 3 positive outcomes, I have nothing but excellent reviews for the entire group there.

I have used Resurgens for 8 years and multiple types of orthopedic surgeries. All physician a very caring, very personable. Great staff. Quick and easy scheduling of surgery. Would not use anyone else. Dr Hanna did my hip replacement and I was back at work at 5 weeks. Dr Holliger has operated on my hands and he is the only one I would trust for upper extremity surgery.

My active family and I have visited Resurgens a number of times; the outcomes were always positive. Dr. Lundy is a catastrophic repair specialists. He is called in when no-one else can do the job. With damage this bad, a perfect outcome cannot be expected. From family experience, I know he is a great orthopedic surgeon.

I had a hand injury and Dr Mowbray is excellent. However the billing is terrible. They are a network provider of my insurance company, however, they kept charging me more than the contract price for several supplies so I ended up receiving multiple bills . What's worse, the billing person was hard to reach. I managed to talked with them several times after all the difficulties finding the person and each time they promised to adjust the bill and I even faxed over the insurance company's EOB letter, however I still keep receiving their bill. I ended up asking the insurance company to make phone calls to them to correct this and all this wasted a bunch of my time.I would not go to this place again. The one star in Service is for the messed-up billing practice.

Wow!!!! I've just read all of the negative reports! My experience has been quite different. 15 minutes was my longest wait and Dr. Becker apologized!? I went through PT which at first was successful, then to injections, which weren't and I'm now scheduled for surgery. I found Dr. Becker eager to explain my condition in detail and answer all of my questions. My treatment course has been conservative.......I in NO way feel that they are milking my insurance company. I enjoy having all facilities conviently located at one location. Nurses and front desk staff both friendly. Can't wait to return to the tennis courts! :~)

I've been to this office twice, both times to see Dr Sabrin. My experience was very positive-hardly had any wait time at all. He was kind, thorough, & really took his time in diagnosing my problem. Everyone I encountered was helpful & friendly. Wish I'd seen Dr Sabrin earlier-he has really helped my tennis elbow.

My leg was almost severed in a jet ski accident in 2006. I went from S.C. to NFRH and was told Dr. Lundy was "the best". 7 surgeries later and 8 months in an Ilazarov frame and having been told my leg was doing GREAT I still had an infected, broken leg. I went to San Diego and Dr. Cierny got rid of the infection (surgically) and 4 surgeries later my leg is fine.

I saw Dr. Lane, the "hip and knee" specialist. I have now been to him twice, and I still don't know what's wrong with my hip. I told them I was having pain in my hip for over three years, and now my knee on the same side as my hip is hurting. THEY X-RAYED MY KNEE, BUT NOT MY HIP!!! Then, told me I needed to see a back specialist because Dr. Lane is not a back specialst. He told me when he was giving me a Cortizone shot IN MY HIP that he used to do back surgeries with the guy who did my back surgery! Shouldn't he have a little knowledge in backs if he's performing back surgeries!?!? I still am having pain in my hip after the cortizone shot, and don't know what's wrong with my hips. Supposedly, the cartiledge under my knee caps are inflamed and that's why they hurt...
