During a CRS full day exam my child had the opportunity to be reviewed by Dr. Ritchey he generalized my sons situation as if he and all the children were the same and had the same thing going on, why because their diagnosis is the same so their for they all have the same level of function? He didn't even speak to my child or even look at him. Be basically told me that I was doing every thing wrong and belittled me in front of my child and husband. I am so sorry that I am not a MD. I was so intimidated that I could not think or give him the correct information. I have never felt so little before. I don't ever want to return to CRS if my son has to see him. My son is in the best shape and health that he has ever been in,and it took many years for him to fell and look healthy. I cried for several hours in(private)after talking to him. I spend 24/7 with my son. He has no right to assume he knows all after reviewing my sons charts in 5 min. He is suppose to be a hero and a caring teacher to children and adults that cant even pronounce their childs diagnosis. He has no business being in pediatrics, his attitude was poor and acted like his service was a chore.
