Worst service, ever! I work in the service industry, and not exactly what bad service is!The wait was horrible, not waitress attention for 15 min after being seated. The food was lukewarm, didn't want to ask someone to take back esspecially after watching the Manager kick out a customer, because they brought in food from another place. Even though the tourist said he wasn't going to eat it inside his place, and complied with the manager, took the stuff to the car. The manager kick the other part of his party out, because he didn't like who the guy talk to him! Now the other party of the party never said anything too him and as quit throughout! So needless to say it could have been anyone, getting this treatment. I also checked out urbanspoon.com and was shocked to see 65 reviews with 39% of them good! They even included pictures! Check it out for yourself!

awful food....i had a fried seafood platter that was greasy, lukewarm and frankly disgusting. crawfish etouffe was even worse. as for the service, the less said the better. i had finished eating before my diet coke arrived (after 3 requests to our waitress who slammed our plates down and forgot the fries we asked for but remembered to add an 18% gratuity without even asking us). go to the palace cafe instead - it's way better.

You would be hard pressed to find a local in this restaurant - but the food isn't bad at all. Nice portions and well-seasoned seafood make this a great place. The atmosphere is minimal, but great views of Decatur Street and Jackson Square make up for it. The service can be iffy, but the good food makes up for it.
