I went to see Dr. Roberts from a referral: after a 2 hour wait I was examined by the Dr. I was asked to return to hear my Pap Smear results. Dr. Roberts told me everything was normal but I "had" to have a cone biopsy. I asked why and she said she suspected something was going on. I told her I'd think about it; she said I had to hurry because she was taking leave in 2 weeks to rest before the birth of her twins & I'd have to have the biopsy in her office (hmmmm). Years later, no biopsy, no abnormalities later - I wasn't going to be the twins' college funding.

I liked the doctor and thought she had a good beside manner. But I hated the horribly long wait times and the incredibly difficult time I had in getting an appointment. I needed to get examined by the doctor when I was not bleeding, but because of my condition, did not know when I would be bleeding. It took them six months of me having to make an appointment, resheduling if I was bleeding, to actually get examined. They could not "fit me in". It was outrageous and I have stopped going to her even though I thought she was good.

Well to start off, my wife and I went there to have a simple IUD removed, and its been a nightmare ever sence. They would tell us that everything would be covered under our insurance, and even made us wait for a pre approval, so we got the pre approval, had the simple proceadure done, and it was supposed to cost a total of 276.00, which we had to pay half of, and 6 weeks later, we get a bill for over 800.00 that we had to pay!! So I contacted the insurance company, and they never received the itemized bill! So I call the nightmare center back, and they argued that the insurance company was refusing to pay it! All in all the insurance company paid it after they received all the proper paperwork, but we had to fight to get them to do their job! But it doesn't end there, we also were wanting to have a baby, so Dr. Roberts gave my wife some prenatal vitamin samples, FOR FREE, and we get a bill for them as well!!! So the last straw for us was my wife needed an ultrasound, and they told us it was 100% covered by our insurance company, so I called 4 days before her ultrasound, and checked with the lady who handles the billing end of the deal, and she assured us not to worry, its covered. Well guess what, after she had the ultrasound that was 100% covered, my wife went back and got the results from some blood work she had gotten, and they told her she owed them about 469.00!! They just wanted to rip us off from day 1!!

Dr Roberts is a very caring and concerned doctor. I was a patient of Dr. J Rojas, which is also a great doctor, for a very long time. I meet Dr Roberts's right before the birth of my son. Dr Rojas was out of town and Dr Roberts took very good care of me. I was in labor a day after the visit and Dr Roberts stepped in to handle the birth. She checked in with the nurses regarding my labor all though out the night and then came in to deliver. She made the scariest thing; giving birth, to the most wonderful experience. I continued going back to Dr Roberts after that and never regretted leaving Dr Rojas.

She always makes time to talk to you and goes over all your concerns. You may have to wait a bit at the office but the fact that there's a blood lab and ultrasound tech in the office makes it convenient. she's great!

I have been seeing Dr. Roberts since 2002. She is THE most amazing ob/gyn I have EVER gone to. She really listens to you when you have questions or concerns without rushing you out the door like most other doctors. She is thorough with her questions as well and the entire staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend (and already have) this doctor to every woman in Las Vegas!
