I have no complaints. I am from NH and have been to Ipswich, MA a number of times for the whole belly clams. We also have many establishments that serve up a great plate of them in NH and just over the borders in ME and VT. To me, the bigger the belly, the better! Ipswich clams have bellies, but, the 2 times I have been to Rosies, the bellies did not seem all that big, but, the clams tasted fresh, were cooked to perfection, and my meal was hot when it got to the table. I had chowder, which was good, although, I have had better, I'd wouldn't hesitate to have it again. I also had onion rings that were thinly sliced and very good. I prefer them thicker, but, they still were great and not at all greasy. The salad was fresh, but, not all that attractive. I have preferences to my food, as most do, and I thought it was a fine place for a good fish lunch or dinner. Both times, service was good, but, it seemed at times when I wanted something, she did not come back, but, was TOO attentive at other times. I do think rolls or bread should accompany meals if they are requested and give me some real butter, too. All in all, it is a relaxed atmosphere where you can go in as you are. They don't claim to be fancy and as for the biker chicks, I did not find the waitpersons to be like that at all. I'll go again because I like that sort of casual atmosphere and the food is fair for the price. I wonder if the bad reviews are from competition. I'm jus' sayin'...
