Went to Ross Eyecare Group to purchase a pair of glasses. The staff of 5 all stood around gossiping and not a single staff offered to help me select a pair of glasses.ericka was so extremely unprofessional and rude and told me "I know the store closes at 2". Mind you I walked in at 1:45pm and had never been to the store. I believe if I was a Caucasian woman I wouldn't have been talked down and they would have helped me select a pair of glasses they didn't even offer to make an appointment to see the optometrist which I wanted since I didn't have my prescription. Horrible customer service experience. I believe as a minority I was discriminated against.

I'm giving them only 1 star not because of the doctors (they are all very good especially Dr Matthew Mast) but because of a really bad experience I had today. I have been a patient of Ross EyeCare for a while and I must admit that I have never experienced such unprofessionalism from the front staff. I walked in at 9:55 AM for a 10 oclock appointment and signed in as usual. 15mns later, I was not acknowledged. The patient who came after me get called. At this point, I walked to the front desk and spoke with the receptionist. She apologized and said that she made a mistake and processed the other patient instead of me. She told me that it won't be long. Another 10 mns later, I am still not called. I walked again to the front desk and asked her to check with the doctor how long it will take and if I can reschedule. The receptionist came back and told me that they were cleaning up a room for me and that I will be next. So I was extremely surprised when the next patient called was another lady who came in during my conversation with the receptionist. I ended up leaving after waiting for 37 mns. To make matters worse, when I called to make a complaint, the office manager did not acknowledge their lack of professionalism and even try to imply that waiting 30 mns is normal. I guess my time and business are not valuable...part of me is sad that this happened because I really like my doctor. I was hoping that they would try to make this right. It is disappointing to say the least...

In all my years of wearing glasses (32), I have never experienced the care and service that I had with Dr. Butterwick. He took his time, had me try a couple of pairs of contacts, and was able to nail it on the head! I now realize that most of the doctors I had were just shooting in the dark for the most part. I highly recommend him if you are serious about having the proper and best prescription.

I came to Dr. Butterwick having some pretty serious eye health issues that had been mismanaged by a previous eye doctor. He was so proactive and gave such phenomenal and complete car that he literally saved my eyes and put me on a road to recovery. I will never go elsewhere!

I've been a client for many years. I'm extremely nearsighted and Dr. David Ross has always found the best options for me so that my corrected vision is good. The professional standards are high here. You will get personal attention...they care about their patients and the health of their eyes.

OK, that was cheesy- but I really like Dr. Mast and have been going here for years. Everyone is friendly, I always get on the schedule, and there is a great selection of frames. The techs are very helpful. Go get your eyes checked!

Provided excellent service. Everyone at the office was very friendly and helpful. I even had a misunderstanding over my bill that Ross helped me work-out after hours. Would recommend all friends to use Ross.

I was referred to the Ross Eye Care center as I needed a Dr. who would be able to work with my particular eye issues. Dr. Ross did a basic eye exam and listened to my concerns. After that I was turned over to the eye glass staff and no one can figure out how to make glasses that work with my eyes. Lots of mistakes made in ordering frames, taking measurements and prescription adjustments. Frames were expensive yet had to be tightened and adjusted all the time. They also refused to refund my money for the lenses that weren't working when I mentioned it 5 months into the process. After 9 months, $1400+ and dozens of visits taking time away from my business, I finally gave up. So I took the glasses even though they still weren't right, donated them and am using my old glasses and contacts w/readers until I can afford to go elsewhere. I'm happy so many others had a good experience. I was hoping with my particular eye challenges, that Ross Eye Care would have done a better job.

Dr. David Ross is second to none. I have been seeing Dr. Ross for well over 10 years and I was born with the worst eyes in the world and today I see better than I did 40 years ago. Dr. Ross' stay is also first class and makes sure all of my and my wife's needs are taken care of. Can't say enough about the professionalism of Dr. Ross and his staff! Arthur Fowle.

The first eye doctor in Atl area since I moved to GA (some 30 yrs. ago, who got my contact Rx and fit right. I'm a hard to fit patient, and I was shocked at the difference in the level of correction I needed when I finally discovered Dr. Butterwick. Love him - and he's cute!
Two words...DR. BUTTERWICK!!! He is the best doctor I have ever had here in ATL, or anywhere else for that matter. I have been seeing him for the last 8yrs. He is so friendly and makes you feel like you are going to a doctor in a small town. He always picks right back up on your conversation from the last time you were in (I am sure he writes it down to remind himself, but still it's a nice touch.) I recommend him to everyone I know and they all love him too!!! Dr. Butterwick was also the second eye doctor that I had ever seen and he adjusted my prescription so perfectly I had no idea I would be able to see that well again ever. He is a perfectionist when it comes to contact prescriptions and it has made all the difference in the world.
I doubt that any other medical practioner in Atlanta can match the concern and compassion of Dr. Butterwick. He responded almost immediately when I was out-of-town with an eye problem, providing sound advice and helpful information. He followed up everyday by phone or electronically until the problem was resolved (by a doctor he referred me to). He is tremendous.
Dr. Butterwick has been my doctor for many years. I especially appreciate the time that he takes and the recommendations that he has made over the years to address my various vision need for sports, computer work and seeing in general...I love the staff as well, especially Lane...
Dr. Ross has been my optometrist for over 25 years. He has always gone above & beyond in the quality of service and the patient care and treatment he provides. He is a wonderful human being too - a real mensch!
