We hired Roy the Painter based on a recommendation from a friend. He had very reasonable prices. However, when it came to painting our exterior and part of our interior, we found out why his prices were so good. Our interior was left a mess with specks and globs of paint all over our bathroom tiles. Our exterior looked like a graffiti fest with VERY sloppy trim. It had rained the day he painted and the paint ran in downward streaks. At the time, he reassured me that the paint dried so quickly, the rain would not affect it. In the end, he agreed that it did not look good and said he was unhappy. He believed it was due to the quality of the powerwashing. He said when it cooled off, he'd send someone to repaint the whole house. We did maintain contact over a few months. Ultimately, he did send a guy out who repainted about 1/4 of our exterior, leaving the rest of the house looking worse than before we started. We attempted to contact him by phone and email over a dozen times and he will not respond to our calls. We left civil messages. We made the mistake of paying him in full before we'd fully inspected his work. I am not the type to review anyone/anytime. But, this experience was so awful, I had to write. Please find someone else to paint your house.

We have used Roy a few times and I've been happy every time. Plus his prices have been great for interior painting. Even the big jobs he has done for us have been on time. He did such a great job we actually tipped him extra. 5-24-13 I'm going to update this review after I received some news from friends. He was terrible and a real jerk. He refused to touch up some areas he missed. After hearing how disappointed they were I'm going to remove him from my list.
