I went to Rubin Brothers based on a recommendation from an ex-boss and an ex-coworker. I went there with my then girlfriend back in January 2012 and they treated us very fair the first time. I dealt with Mitch who was very no nonsense, but honest. I told him my budget and he had the sales people show me what my budget would cover. I ended up reaching back out in March once I knew what to purchase and they were very quick with locating a diamond in my budget. I went in to finalize everything at the end of April with Darren and he gave me a great deal on the engagement ring and diamond. I tried looking only for a similar diamond and all the prices came back higher versus what he quoted me. My appraisal came back even higher than I anticipated. Darren is the more pleasant of the two to deal with, but overall they have earned my business and I plan on going back and recommending others to go. Once again, I am not an employee.

we went in to sell some gold, we ended up selling the gold with no hassle, very easy transaction, then we had some rings sized at a very reasonable price, and had a stick pin made into a ring. We have had a wonderful experience

I purchased a designer setting for half-price that was being "discontinued." They kept the ring for "cleaning and re-sizing" and I never saw the ring again. I tried to pick it up the next day before they could "cut into it" and they told me they already had and it "fell apart into four pieces." They intended to provide me with a "rebuilt" substitution for the designer setting I had purchased. SCAM ALERT! I demanded a refund, and it was issued in full. I sent an anonymous friend the following week, on a hunch that I had been scammed, and THE RING I HAD PURCHASED AND HAD "FALLEN APART IN FOUR PIECES" IS SITTING RIGHT BACK IN THE CASE UNTOUCHED! RUBIN BROTHERS is DISHONEST, SHADY, and WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE WHERE POSSIBLE! STEER CLEAR!!!!!

When I walked in (2006)wanting to upgrade the main stone in my wedding ring, I was first greeted warmly by the bros' father. Once I spoke to Mitch, told him what I was looking for, he stated he would give me a call once he sourced it. A couple of months passed & no call (hence 4 star service). When I walked in & reminded him, he searched his notes, apologized, found a stone immediately & sold it at cost. They also placed a new setting without extra cost in a timely manner. I've ordered diamond necklaces through Darren and had my jewelry cleaned while waiting. They've always been cordial and I find very knowledgable. I've since relocated, but am hesitant to go anywhere else. And no, I'm not an employee nor appear to come from money.

This establishment should be called "Snake Brothers." Sell a diamond here if you'd like to be lied to about the 3 C's. Sell a diamond here if you enjoy giving away your valuables.

Don't waste your time. These brothers are a joke. The store is cramped, the quality is poor and the service has to be the worst in the industry from both the brothers and the staff. Like another reviewer stated, any of the positive reviews you may see for Rubin Brothers had to have been written by employees. These guys judge you on your appearance before you even talk to them. Too bad for them though, they can sell their high priced junk to someone else. In addition, they are destroying the Rubin name. There are other Rubins in the jewelry business that are honest and fair. Search around, you will find them and will be thankful you didn't deal with Rubin Brothers of Alpharetta.

We have recently purchased a ring from Rubin Brothers. One of the things that I really love about Rubin Brothers is their creativity with commitment to quality. I recently found a ring that I liked on Ebay but I was concerned about buying jewelry from someone that I did not know. We have been shopping at Rubin Brothers for several years. So, I took the picture of the ring I wanted and requested them make it for me. It turned out beautiful, better quality, for little less than I was going to pay online. For these reasons I have made Rubin Brothers my choice for jewelry purchases

I went into this store to buy a little something for my wife. The two brothers were there, Darren and Mitch. I asked to see a couple of things and they looked at me in disgust, because I had just come from the gym. They refused to let me see anything because they thought I could not afford it. What they did not know was I drove up in my ferrari. Just because of the way I was dressed they refused to help me. Both Darren and Mitch were acting like they were high on drugs.

EVERY GOOD REVIEW IS FROM A RUBIN EMPLOYEE. nothing in that place is quick. they are liars. it took 3 months for them to get my ring back to me which they promised a couple weeks.

This was our first experience with Rubin Brothers. We worked with Darren who did an outstanding job. The jewelry was beautiful and the selection and custom pieces were amazing. The staff was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. I am so pleased with my new ring and would highly recommend Rubin Brothers. We will definitely be a repeat customer!

My boyfriend and I have been in a couple of times looking at engagement rings. Both times we have dealt with the same woman (older, blond hair) and she has been awful to us. This is a new experience to us both (like most couples) yet she is very unhelpful, condescending, and won't give a strait answer to anything, mainly our price questions. She just keeps demanding to know how much we can afford. Our budget is flexible at this point and we wanted to know the price of a specific item, not get a lecture on how she needs to know our finances. They (lady and one of the brothers) were more concerned with putting away all of the jewelry 30 mins before they closed than helping us. Though they were more than happy to trash talk the other stores we had visited. I will not be going back ever!

Bought a "branded" engagement setting for my wife as an upgrade for an anniversary present. I supplied her wedding rings so they would know the correct size for my purchase. They resized the wedding rings instead of the ring I was buying (mistake #1). No apology, no accommodation. The ring broke within six months (#2, no apology. A year later the ring broke in half, no apoloogy. Blamed it on my wife. They offered to replace the setting, just call and let us know what you want to do. From that point they never returned calls or email. Took the broken ring to two other reputable jewelers who eventually told me I paid for junk. To quote one person, "how could you possibly trust a company that has a billboard on the back of a truck, what were you thinking?" - I guess I wasnt!

The prices here are good, they are... but the service is atrocious. If you don't look like you're going to throw down the big bucks they're not interested. I went in recently and spent well over 1K and was treated like I was dirt that someone had tracked in. If I had found anything I liked better I would have gone elsewhere. All of the sales associates were very nice, but every time that they had to ask one of the brothers a question we got a disdainful response. He was holding my $900 dollar tourmaline and looking at it like it was a ten dollar plastic stone. I was more than a little insulted. Also, my FI bought my engagement ring from them because they were the only store in ATL to carry it, the diamond was not set properly which I didn't notice for awhile, when I did, and took it in to be fixed, he took it to the back, steam-cleaned it, and brought it back. I believed that it had been fixed and went home, only under closer inspection found out that NOTHING had changed. I just don't have the heart to take it back as the stone is not loose. I really wanted this to be a good jewelers because those are few and far between. But it's not

The mistake people make is thinking b/c they're nice to you when you 1st visit, they have great customer service. But, once they have your $$$, the service stops. I worked directly w/ Darren Rubin, the owner. He lied to me about the value I was getting, when the ring would be ready (was finished 15 days LATE), why there was a delay. He also never returned a single call I made over the course of 6 weeks. I kept having to go in the store for answers. Turns out, they forgot to place my order w/ Tacori. Then he lied about it. And to top it off, my ring & diamond appraised for 21% LESS than what I paid. p.s. Anyone think it's interesting that all of the 5-star reviews came from the same IP address?
