Agree with ABIGGUY - the value is gone from Rubio's - no more than 2oz. (if that) of fish in the tacos, burritos are filled with bulk (aka beans), and pricing is that of a full service sit down restaurant. I'll stick to Roberto's for the fast Mex. food from now on - better food, more of it & for much less. Robertos also has a better fish taco - as does Las Olas, The Brigantine....and all for the same price or less.

Rubio's has been demonstrating the concept of inflation over the past few years. Prices have been skyrocketing, portions are getting smaller, and the food is getting "classier" but not a whole lot better. First they raised the prices on their iconic fish tacos, then they got rid of chips with entrees, then they raised all the prices. Now they're serving street and "gourmet" tacos so that they can charge five times more than a taco at any competitive restaurant. Do yourself a favor and head for La Salsa until Rubio's becomes competitive again.

Quality ingredients and prepared fresh. Can be very loud due to all the parents letting their children run wild. If its busy, expect to leave conversing about the lack of quality parenting these days, but you'll have enjoyed the food.
