I have been taking my baby (Black Lab) to Colleen and her staff at Ruff n Tumble for 5.5 years - since he was 6 months old. He can't wait to go to school. Colleen and her staff have always been friendly and helpful. Worth every penny to have a happy and satisfied baby!!! Thank you Colleen

Our dog weighs 10 lbs. and is very timid around other dogs and people. Colleen assured me her daycare would work wonders for him, and that she would personally work with him and slowly introduce him to other dogs his size over time (multiple trips to daycare) to help with his problem. THE FIRST DAY I returned to pick him up, he was huddled in the corner of the yard along with EVERY OTHER DOG. I personally saw him trampled by 2 dogs that weighed well over 70lbs when I arrived. He pinned himself against the fence and wouldn't budge until I went in to get him. Obviously, as soon as I left, he was just tossed into the yard with every other dog there. So much for slowly introducing him over a few visits. Oh, and Colleen? Nowhere to be found. Who was left in charge of the entire facility? A young teenager (her son I assumed.) A teenager is not a professional pet care provider. I expressed my concern.... never to hear back from Colleen. Ever. She refused to return more calls I made to speak with her. Colleen lacks everything a professional pet care provider requires. Stay away at all costs if you care for your pet.

After I got my high energy mix almost two years ago, I wondered how I could ever entertain him enough. Then I found Ruff n Tumble and Jax's whold world changed! He has an outlet for his energy, he has made great friends, and is totally exhausted at the end of the day. He loves it and can't wait to get out of the car when we get there. Now his brotehr Boone gets to go too and they both have a great time! Colleen is the alpha of the pack and all the dogs know it...I feel totally comfortable with my dogs there. I have said this many times...we couldn't live without our doggy daycare!

I agree with Sun_Shine, Colleen is a know-it-all, condescending witch but I was in a bind and had to take my dog here a few times. My dog is never scared, always happy and I should have known when he was afraid to get out of the car that something was wrong. Turns out, there must be some aggressive dogs in the bunch as that night after I got my dog home, I found he had a bite wound on his knee which I had to take him into the after hours vet to get treated. Of course Colleen and staff denied it happening there but there's no way it could have happened anywhere else as that is the only time he was around dogs. I understand dogs can play rough and these things can happen but the staff should have been aware of it and been proactive in getting my dog treated immediately. Colleen was always rude and short with me and I can't believe she gets away with it. I never took my dog back there and would never recommend this place to anyone. My dog has been happy at Recess on Maxwell Rd. ever since.

Colleen and staff have been caring for my dogs for over 9 years. They provide a great experience for the dogs in a natural environment as opposed to a cement box like some Dog Day Cares. The dogs play, dig, run, catch, chase, roll around, sing as a group when the fire engines go by, and come home exhausted and with all their best pack instincts satisfied. Rates are reasonable and the "Pack Leaders" keep things under control.

I used to take my dog here, he loved playing with the other so I was willing to look past the run down house, unstable fencing outside and the high turnover staff. Colleen has a bad temper and needs to learn how to communicate with people. She is extremely unprofessional and is the type that is ALWAYS right. Daycare is too expensive to put up with her attitude/behavior. Confidentiality is not in her vocabulary. Based on this I never suggest people to go here.

Colleen and her staff are knowledgeable and friendly! They love the animals and go to great lengths to make your dog's experience safe and fun. The dogs' areas are well-maintained and clean. Your dog will have a great time and you will have peace of mind knowing your dog is in great, caring hands!

I found Ruff n Tumble after checking out several daycares for my puppy. I knew this was the right place by the way my puppy, Lucas, reacted to the staff and by the way the staff reacted to him. And, they were patient with me the first couple of days when I called to make sure he was okay. He LOVES going there and starts to get excited as we are driving up. I am very picky about who looks after my little guy and I would not take him anywhere else. I highly, highly recommend Ruff n Tumble!

I have been taking my dogs to Colleen and her staff at Ruff n Tumble since 2001 or so. I have had boxers the entire time and between their high energy level and need for constant companionship it's like daycare was MADE for them. I have looked at other facilities, but they don't seem to match what RnT has to offer. In addition to the indoor and outdoor play areas, they are open super convenient hours every weekday and allow drop-ins for established clients. Best of all, Colleen has trained her staff to be "pack leaders" and provides constant supervision and guidance to all four-legged guests. Social skills and dog-dog, dog-people relationships are a major part of what they offer. Not that it is a serious rigid environment though--everyone is there to play! The pack leaders' shoulders are well-muscled from constant tennis ball throwing. There are also wading pools in the summer and a steady flow of clean mulch that the "diggers" really enjoy. If you want a tired, happy, and well adjusted companion, take him or her to Ruff n Tumble!

I have been taking all three of my dogs to Ruff N'Tumble for the last 4 years. Colleen Kane is amazing at understanding the psychology of dogs, what they need and how to give it to them. She is also awesome when it comes to her clients. My dog Lollipop needed some additional training which Colleen provided. Ruff N'Tumble has been a God send for my dogs who are large breed dogs and need to understand boundaries, how to exist in a pack environment and being social with people. Colleen has also been amazing in helping me to understand how to be a better dog parent. She has come to know me and my dogs well and where we need additional help and then helps to provide it. Ruff N'Tumble has been a great way for my dogs to get the exercise that they need, the socialization with other dogs as well as a break for Mommy! As long as Colleen is around is as long as we will be going to Ruff N'Tumble. We absolutely love her and Ruff N'Tumble!

I am so pleased with Colleen and her staff. They've taken great care of my dog for the past year, since he was just four months old. He's a big dog and requires lots of exercise to be happy. At Ruff N Tumble he runs around all day with the pack and is well socialized and very happy. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality care for their dog.

omg what a difference ruffntumble made in my life. Having had many pets in my life, I have never had such a well adjusted and overall happy dog. I owe this all to Colleen and the staff at ruffntumble. My dog Dylan has been housebroken since he was six months old, and with my long hours at work I never thought that would be possible. He is also well socialized and behaved. In todays hectic lifestyle and long work hours our pets deserve to be a little pampered. Ruffntumle can offer you piece of mind that your pet will be well cared for, tired and happy all day. On behalf of Dylan and myself, I just want to thank Colleen for all she has done for us both. I would highly recomend this service to all dog owners

Being a new pet owner can be hard; potty training and socializing your dog is even harder! Ruff-N-Tumble helps with both!! As a "working parent" it is important for me that my puppy get as much exercise, love, and socialization with other dogs (different types and ages) while I am at work; Ruff-N-Tumble is a "doggy" heaven!! The owners and care takers are warm, friendly, and loving toward all the dogs. They help with socialization, potty training, and obedience training as well. The facility offers inside and outside play areas...it literally is a "dog's house". Each day I pick-up my puppy, Max, I love knowing that he has been given excellent care by loving professionals and has made new friends. I love my pet, like my child, and I want the best for him...Ruff-N-Tumble offers the best treatment and friendly service for any dog!!

My girlfriend kept telling me she knew of a doggy daycare place and we should put our puppy pitbull there a couple days per week. At first I thought it was an unnecessary expense, but I agreed to let him try it for one day. This has turned out to be much better then I envisioned! The employees at this establishment are very polite and very knowledgeable. My puppy, Maximus, is a very hyper dog, as a 4 month old pitbull should be. But after spending the day at Ruff N Tumble, he comes home worn out and ready for bed. Every time we put on the harness, he gets so excited his entire body shakes, because he knows it's the day he goes to play with his friends. Since all the dogs go outside, it's also helped with housetraining. He rarely has accidents in the house now (usually by our fault if he does), and goes to the door whenever he has to go to the bathroom. Ruff N Tumble is a house with a fenced in backyard, so interacting with all the other dogs and always having to go outside has really helped with the potty training. He's also learning how to play with other breeds of dogs, as we don't want him to be aggressive, he is learning how to be social. Ruff N Tumble has been great with our dog, and I appreciate all the help they have given us with raising and training ours.
